The pictures for this listing are beautiful, but they don’t do it any justice. You just have to go and see this place for yourself. Gems like these on Airbnb are becoming harder and harder to find. Absolutely perfect in every way that you could possibly think of. Kathy and her husband are absolutely wonderful and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable as they did with me. If you’re in the area and this place is available book it before someone else does .

Shawn and Cheryl are great hosts! They are so personable and great to work with. The Scurlock Bunkhouse was a very cozy stay. They had the place stocked very well with all the amenities (coffee, drinks, snacks, toiletries, games, area books, and the most wonderful cozy blankets). We enjoyed the secluded area and the beauty! My mom grew up just up the road so it was nice to be able to reminisce about her childhood! And Shawn knew a lot of history about the area and the families. It might of been a little snug for 4 women, but we made it work 😀

This home exceeded our expectations on our trip to Mt. Rainier! Extremely convenient to hiking and a totally relaxing place to come home to at the end of the day. Super clean, organized and well laid out home. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything you need to make some fantastic meals. Pro tip: pick up groceries on your way to the home. Hot tub and fire pit made the evenings absolutely memorable.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this mountain Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the cozy charm of the cabin. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect escape. There was plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind—whether it was lounging by the fireplace, cooking meals together in the well-stocked kitchen, or enjoying coffee on the deck surrounded by the mountains. My husband and I stayed at Michael’s cabin for a few nights as our home base while we explored Mount Rainier. The cabin is exactly as pictured in the description. It was the perfect location with all the comforts we needed after long days of hiking. As an added bonus, there is a washer and dryer that also came very much in handy with as much hiking as we did. We felt very much at home and enjoyed mornings and nights by the fireplace. Michael was always quick to respond and very kind with all of our interactions. Thank you for a lovely stay!
