Great Host! Fantastic cabin, location, and amenities! Very tasteful decor and the sauna was my personal favorite! 10/10 highly recommend and will be booking again once i get the chance!

We had a bunch of guys up for a fishing trip, and the house and (separate) bunk house worked out great! Large yard that was perfect for games and bonfire. Very long driveway to accommodate many cars. Although this was listed to sleep 16 people, that is assuming people will be sharing the queen mattresses throughout, which is not always possible with adults. So, plan for that if you plan to bring up that many people. I brought many air mattresses to accommodate the non-sharing sleepers. The home itself is gorgeous and is perfect for a weekend getaway. The path to the lake is quite lengthy, but a good distance away if you want to get away from the noise of the party people. The water is not the cleanest but you would prefer to float then you're fine. The hot tub worked great as well. I would stay here again!

Fabulous & quaint place!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean ( loved the use of wood, especially photograph frames and mirror.) It's nice that they have water toys available, but carrying kayak and paddle board down a steep flight of stairs to get to the water was a bit daunting. Just something to be aware of that it's not simple if you want to just hop on the water. The fire pit was great, the views and sunsets were amazing. There were strong winds for part of the time we were there and it was great listening to the waves crashing just like the ocean. Overall was a good experience and I would definitely recommend!

Tim was very helpful in helping us plan our stay! he gave us lots of local recommendations and answered our many questions quickly! the cabins we stayed in were very clean and well equipped with everything we needed!

Little Whitefish Resort is a great family owned and operated resort. Its a step back into time with modern amenities available (Wi-Fi and satellite tv). The host family is great and responds right away to any questions. We picked this location as they had a couple cabins available that took dogs. Our dog loved coming here and felt right at home. Enjoyed a boat ride around the lake looking at the wild rice growing. Best part is the lake is a private lake so it is not run over with multiple boats. Fishing is great too my kids were able to fish from the dock and caught plenty of fish. Little Whitefish has become our new favorite find. Looking forward to creating more family memories here over the next couple of years to come.

It was a perfect family trip, thanks to this Airbnb. The place had everything we needed, along with a beautiful view of the Rum River. The campfire and stargazing at night were truly memorable. The host was very responsive and super kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely visit again!

We loved Penny's place located right on the water. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck while viewing the beautiful lake Milacs. Rented a pontoon boat for half a day fron a nearby reresort and hiked in Kathio State Park. Hope to return next year. Thanks for a lovely stay on our 35th Wedding Anniversary.

We had the most wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Isle, MN! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect northwoods escape—peaceful, clean, and full of charm. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed and had just the right mix of rustic and comfy. We spent our days exploring the lake, relaxing on the deck, and soaking up the quiet beauty of the area. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, making everything super easy. Whether you’re looking for a little adventure or just a place to unwind and unplug, this spot is a gem. We’d absolutely come back!

I stayed with 5 people for a long weekend, it was a perfect get away. Proximity to public boat landing was ideal, shoreline was sandy and level. Great outdoor areas, nice private fire pit area and comfortable home.

Stacys place was Beautiful & perfect for this past weekend. we brought our 2 dogs who fully enjoyed the outdoors, the cabin was spacious even w/ 6 of us there. we took advantage of the fire pit, and bbq, also brought our SxS(side by side) up, theres a couple trails, drivable 20-40min away. able to drive out & come back a few times daily. The beach was nice and sandy, to bad the weather was a bit cooler! Stacy was very responsive w/ answer questions we had, and all the kids definitely enjoyed the relaxed stay! Definitely staying here again. Thank you so much!

Perfect location for a small team retreat. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils we needed to make meals, the wood fireplace was great. Beautiful view of the lake.
