Escape to Adelaide Hills ~ Nature's Den #2 (of 4)

RenaeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I just spent a weekend at Nature’s Den in Mount George and it was absolute bliss. The outlook from the den is five stars — peaceful, private, and breathtaking. We woke up one morning to find a kangaroo feeding and relaxing just a few metres from our bed, and got to watch him while sipping our morning coffee. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, with a comfy bed and a handy little kitchenette. It felt like a true escape, yet still so close to the CBD. A perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

Villa Vineyards Green Door Studio

We absolutely loved our stay! Stunning location and oh so peaceful. Cottage was perfect in every way. We had a fair bit of rain and was it cold during our stay, but Natalie had left the heater on for our arrival leaving the room super cosy. Having the extra touches such as the bath salts and bath robes was appreciated. The breakfast provisions were superb! Kitchen was fully stocked for every need. Will definitely come back again and hope that maybe we get some sunshine next time to really appreciate the surroundings. We did get to meet Frankie on our quick walk around the cellar door between showers too!

"The Nook" Studio Guesthouse

AdamRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay at The Nook was amazing. Erin's communication was excellent from the moment we first booked and all the way through our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The Nook was exactly as described and as pictured on Air Bnb. It was very peaceful and tranquil, in what was a beautiful setting. Sitting in front of the fire, with a local Red Wine and watching the view from the windows was very relaxing. Even saw a few Kangaroos having a fight which made for great entertainment (no Kangaroo was injured). The Nook had everything that you need, and we even received some local Melba's Chocolate and a card on our arrival which was a nice touch. There was plenty to do in what was a short walk or drive and can recommend LOT 100 and the Charleston Pub for great food and wine. Highly recommend a stay at The Nook!

The Cottage at Blue Door Farm

A cosy, beautifully decorated space, perfect for a weekend getaway. We felt so at home the moment we stepped foot inside. Jess and Shane were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The little fire kept us super warm on a chilly winter evening.

Stoney Creek Cottage, luxury bed & breakfast

ElenaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We spent a wonderful 3 nights at Stoney Creek Cottage - everything was so thoughtfully put together and cozy, with very generous breakfast supplies and tasty treats not just for us, but also for our dog, which were very much appreciated. We especially loved saying hello to the horses and Jace the pony every morning, and would happily stay again!

Little Rolling Home

JamesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My partner and I had the most wonderful time. The property is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful than the already nice photos - and the tiny house itself is extremely cosy and snug. It’s decorated beautifully and we felt at home straight away. There are a number of beautiful animals that populate the property (I.e. sheep, cattle, cats), that make a beautiful place even nicer. The location of the property itself is really great - it’s close to Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale wineries, and not too far from the Fleurieu Peninsula. Finally, Emily was extremely proactive and friendly in our exchanges and her and her family were amazing hosts. We highly recommend.
