We had an amazing experience at Lolu Village Resort. The resort was very beautiful, well kept, and safe! The location is perfect, so close to all the ancient Anuradhapura temples. Taking a dip in the well kept pool was always so inviting after a long hot day of exploring. All the food at the restaurant was delicious, the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend staying at Lolu Village Resort when visiting Anuradhapura.

If you are looking for a place which is out of daily hustle of the city and love to be with tranquilizing nature then 'First house' in Mihintale is the one you need. Hosted by Nuwan a modest man who is well experienced in tourism industry and is ready to extend all possible help to plan your trip. His mother a very soft spoken lady, great cook and takes all the pain happily to maintain all house and premise. Rohan, Nuwan elder brother a real kind hearted person who always spare some time from his busy schedule to make your smooth visits to all nearby tourist attractions with 'Rangana' by his side. Rangana is well behaved and has articulated the best tourist guide in his tuk tuk ride. Having hot Sri Lankan breakfast in the varandha whilst watching and listening to the chirps of all the birds around makes me relive my best memories. Attending family function with Rohan was a opportunity to know cultural resemblance. Short tour for wild life watch was a unexpected surprise given by Rohan For me the First house will be certain place in the next Sri Lankan visit to meet my buddy Nuwan, Rohan & Loving Amma

Wimal is a marvellous host, his wife an excellent cook and the boys are just great. Wimal took us to peaceful spots of natural beauty, where you don’t want to leave. He organised a day trip to Anuradhapura with a very competent guide, and took us to our next home stay. He showed us videos of the cultural sites and suggested improvements to the program.

Super friendly owner and staff. The SriLankan breakfast was fabulous, the room was great, super air-conditioning . The best part though was Manjula and his staff. They were helpful, informative and gave us a real insight into how real people live in Sri Lanka.
A well-lit bathroom space features a modern pedestal sink topped with a rectangular mirror. Wall-mounted glass shelves are positioned above the sink, complemented by sleek light fixtures on either side, all set against light-colored tiled walls.

Nimals was a great place to stay. It’s a little off center but all of Anuradhapura is very spread out so your gonna need tuk tuks He has previously worked in tourist hotels so room/batg was at a higher standard of bed pillows & linen & towels He speaks good English & suggested many things to max my experience of this beautiful town like seeing Minhitale … a must. No food in booking but plenty of tea as per listing I loved it … has a great old dog too

we had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean, the bed very confortable. The AC was working very well, so we had a refreshing sleep. The communication with the two ladies was easy going. They were always ready to help us. We will come back for sure.

We had a great stay here. The host was very friendly and helpful! The villa is near the lake and has a beautiful view. The roads are a bit rough getting there but as long as it’s dry it should be ok in a tuk tuk. The room was nice and clean.
