There are no paved tracks in the winter, but mostly scooter tracks you can follow. It is also no problem to go with mountain skis off the track, something many choose to do to enjoy the scenery.

Welcome to "Doktorhytta," a spacious cabin at the foot of Ilfjellet. Short distance to fishing spots and very beautiful hiking terrain. The cabin has no running water or electricity, but there is a gas stove, a gas refrigerator and a solar panel (12v) for lighting and charging electronics. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with a family bunk bed in one room. The other room has a bunk bed and a camp bed. The toilet is indoors. Great view of the Oppdal and Budal mountains. The road is not plowed in winter, but snowmobile transport can be arranged.

There is no running water and no inhouse. There is a toll road (NOK 100). Road almost all the way in the summer (50 meters to walk from parking). In winter, there are about 1.4 km to ski.
