A lovely, cozy (complete privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). The Slaaplokaal in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with a spacious private garden, located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage site, where you can intensely enjoy the peace and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is very spacious and can accommodate up to 5 people. In the garden you will find a lovely sauna*, a hot tub/jacuzzi*, various lounge areas and a Zen garden (also a sandbox for children (;). * optional

Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

We would like to welcome you to our sustainable and smoke-free bed & breakfast on the water! Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transportation (5 minutes' walk). There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

De studio bevindt zich op 2e verdieping van het huis op de 1e verdieping zijn nog 2 kamers aanwezig. Het trappenhuis wordt gedeeld. Verder is alles voor u privé.

Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Within 15 minutes by bike (for rent), you can be at Potten Beach or in the bustle of the city, while on your return, you can once again enjoy the tranquility of the Frisian countryside. An ideal combination of vibrancy and relaxation. The detached húske is stylishly and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort.

As can be seen in the photos, there is a shed behind the house. This will not bother you, there is little to no movement and certainly not at night.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

In this lovely cottage you can fully enjoy the great view over the nature reserve. For a stay in nature, you don't have to sacrifice anything in luxury, from rain shower to smart TV and air conditioning and luxury box spring, everything has been thought of! The compact kitchen has an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage is modern and tastefully decorated and has its own deck.

Forest Cabin is a cosy eco-cabin for 2 persons, situated at the edge of the forest on our green campsite. The double bed of this eco-cabin is made for you on arrival and towels and kitchen linen are ready for you. Every morning we bring a delicious fresh and extensive breakfast to your door, including fresh bread from the local bakery, organic yoghurt and cheese from the carefarm, various juices and many other good things.
