Benoit's house was lovely for our three-day stopover. Everything was super-clean and very well equipped. The pool was wonderful after a long, hot drive, but we were a little unlucky as it then rained for the rest of our stay! Benoit is the perfect host - responsive yet giving you all the privacy you need. Thank you!

Quality accommodation, well equipped, quiet and away from excessive heat (thanks to air conditioning & pool). The surroundings are particularly relaxing, while remaining close to everyday essentials (bakery, supermarket...) and local tourist gems. Emilie and her family were as discreet as they were available. Thanks!

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour incroyable!! On avait pas envie de partir!

We had a great time with the family at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden not overlooked, provision of games… everything to have a good time! And the real plus: a bathroom and toilet per bedroom. Thank you for this beautiful stay, enjoyed by young and old.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

Lovely rustic home, as described and shown. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk into the village although a shame some of the restaurants have closed, so check if you intend to eat out, Le Chai is a lovely traditional restaurant. Brigitte is close at hand, but lets you get on with your break. Plenty of places to visit nearby, some great bastide towns.

Charming region, apartment in the heart of a pretty little typical village, very clean with all the necessary amenities and a nice decoration that immediately makes you feel good. Friendly, responsive and very adaptable host. I would recommend it in a second.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Treat yourself to staying at Frédérique’s home. She and Martine did everything they could possibly do to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We loved walking the hills and taking in the incredible views from this beautiful village. The restaurant La Petite Tourelle was a 2 minute walk down and a lovely dining experience. Don’t miss it! Beynac was a great spot from which to visit other quaint small villages by car and also Lascaux IV was a 45 minute drive away. We felt very at home during our stay! Thank you Frédérique and Martine!

small traditional house in a quiet natural setting. Very functional and very clean. The dishes are gorgeous. There is a small fireplace and a plancha. The house is very well located. We strongly recommend!

The AirBnB is situated above La Roque-Gageac with a breathtaking view of the valley across to Domme. The interior of the house is lovely and very well stocked / furnished. Whilst you do need a car or bike to access the surrounding area, this is the case generally for the region, and the house is actually perfectly located right in the heart of a cluster of interesting places to visit, all within 10-20 min drive. Eve lives in the main house next door and is a lovely host. She was extremely helpful, and we felt as though the AirBnB space was private and our own. The pool was particularly welcome after a hot day. We would recommend lunches at Jardin de Marqueyssac and Les Courtines; and dinner at Lou Toupi (all very nearby). In terms of day trips, Domme, Beynac and Castelnaud are within easy reach. We will definitely be staying again.

The cottage was really equipped with every comfort. Spices, oil, tea and coffee are provided. Plenty of glasses, pans, plates and cutlery. Nicely decorated to make you feel really at home with plenty of space outside with places in the sun, places in the shade.

We had a wonderful stay at Geert and Marga's beautiful home. The house and its surroundings are stunning, and we couldn't have asked for more in terms of amenities. The house has plenty of absolutely everything you could possibly need and we felt right at home straight away. Geert and Marga's place is perfectly located in the region, and we very easily visited many of the beautiful surrounding towns and villages. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again sometime. We would recommend Geert and Marga's home to anyone looking for a well equipped, beautiful and peaceful vacation. A very nice little house, with very beautiful spaces and beautiful rooms. Perfect location for a long weekend in the Dordogne, 30 min from several beautiful sites: caves, castles, canoeing on the Dordogne or on the Vezege. Troglodytic village. Downtown near Sylvie is available and friendly. I recommend it for a small family. 😉

We loved the house and especially the pool, at 35° outside temperature. Cécile was always available to us and helped us immediately. The many attractions within 40 km were very easy to reach from our house. Very good restaurants in about 10 km. I can highly recommend the place.
