Not just a great location but a lovely apartment, very clean and tidy, nicely designed - looked alive. The host was spot on - responsive and easy to talk to. We will be visiting again, this is now our favourite spot in Balchik.

Villa Relax - Sokolovo close to Balchik

The villa was great, and the highlight of the holiday. The local village is nice and quiet with a couple of shops and restaurant. Balchik the nearest town is also very lovely. Maya communicated very well but also relied on a local agent which is where our only criticism comes in. We knew we would be arriving in the middle of the night and communicated this a week prior to our arrival. I was sent 2 different map pins of the location and no street address. I was also told the local agent would be at the property to meet us. When we arrived at my pick of the 3 map pins and called the local agent (at 4am) it was very concerning to learn he wasn't there, didn't really know the address either and could not communicate well enough in English to make any progress. Very nervously I had to approach a property that I thought may the correct one, with my family waiting, and enter it hoping it was our accomodation and not someone else's house. From then onwards though it was great
