Vacation rentals with a patio in Mesão Frio

Tivemos uma excelente hospedagem no imóvel da Ana. Casa extremamente limpa e com tudo o que precisar. O jardim da casa é magnífico, muito bem cuidado e reservado. Perfeito para refeições como pequeno almoço. Com certeza voltaremos outras vezes.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement avec une vue superbe sur la vallée et une belle terrasse. La piscine est incroyable avec beaucoup de transat pour tous les résidents. Et surtout Paul est un hôte remarquable par sa gentillesse, sa discrétion vous faisant vous sentir chez vous et sa grande réactivité dès que vous avez besoin de lui.

Très bel appartement fonctionnel la terrasse est grande bien meublée et intime. L'hôte Marli a fait preuve d'une grande gentillesse et nous a toute suite fait sentir chez nous. C'est un tout petit village mais avec beaucoup de commodités. Nous avons choisi cet endroit car nous visitons un vignoble le lendemain et c'etait bien situé par rapport a notre journée du lendemain

Truly loved our stay at Paulo's place. Beautiful views of vinyards and hillsides with birds chirping in the trees. Paulo was friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to go and where to eat. Lovely restaurant located downstairs. I would recommend staying here for anyone looking to visit the Douro region. Train to Porto stops nearby at Aregos but don't let the short distance on the map deceive you. It's very hilly terrain and not walkable.

I'll write the review in English so it can reach everyone, as well as some tips for your stay. The apartment was in excellent condition, very well decorated and clean. The TV supports Youtube and Netflix. The hosts are super nice, the area is calm, perfect for night walks. As for my tips: Restaurants in the area are cheap and serve good food. If you plan on going to Stop, a medium dose of beef does feed 2 people for only 10€. Do note that the nearest supermarket is a 30min walk from the apartment, so if you're not bringing a car make sure to stock up on your first day!

We just spent two wonderful nights at Helga and Mario’s house. We stayed in the one bedroom, views from the upstairs bathroom and bedroom, magical. Great directions, to the property, we missed the final right turn and ended up in front of a small church. Some lovely locals helped us back. Nicely equipped kitchen , microwave, dishwasher and hot plates, large fridge, coffee machine, toaster and electric jug. Managed to catch up on my washing , dryer also in laundry which is a bonus (I didn’t use it). The swimming pool was great after a day of touring. Only 20 mins to Pinhao on N222. We went on the 1hr electric boat tour and wine tasting, very relaxing. We as went to a lovely restaurant in the village, O Tonel very tasty local food. Would definitely recommend staying at Helga and Mario’s

host nos recebeu muito bem, com dicas de restaurantes e tudo ❤️ eu e meu esposo amamos a estadia! o quarto era exatamente como nas fotos, lindo!!! apesar da chuva, conseguimos também aproveitar bastante o salão de jogos e a piscina interna. já queremos voltar!

Estadia maravilhosa na região do Douro! 👌 A casa e o espaço envolvente foram ótimos, muito bem equipado e perfeito para acomodar grupos de amigos, acompanhados de uma piscina e uma vista incrível! Fomos ainda recebidos da melhor maneira por dois patudos muito queridos. 🐶 O Paulo foi também excelente, mostrando-se sempre muito atencioso! Sem dúvida que recomendo bastante e, muito provavelmente, voltaremos!

It’s a bit of a drive off the beaten path to get there (car GPS had no problem) but well worth the drive! A lovely vineyard with spectacular views from every angle! Even though we were there in mid Oct, went for a very refreshing swim in the pool that is steps away from our room. Just a short walk away is a lovely waterfall on the grounds. Sonia lives on site - she is a gem. She does all the cleaning as well as offers laundry service (for a very small fee). The place was spotless & well appointed. We were provided with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal, several cartons of milk & juice, butter, jams, ham & cheese. We also were provided with copious amounts of a variety of fruit (oranges & kiwi grown right there in the vineyard) The piece de resistance were the homemade (by Sonia) rolls and croissants we received every morning - they were the bomb!! Enough food for us to enjoy for breakfast & lunch! Stay here. It will NOT disappoint.

We had an amazing stay at Paulo - We booked the wooden house with private pool, and simply loved it. The house is comfortable with anything you need - including air-conditioning for hot days. With the property set in a very peaceful environment and with views that are simply breath-taking. The location is ideal for exploring the Duoro region and is well reachable and close to the more urban areas of Godim and Peso da Régua. The host Paulo was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. We can highly recommend visiting Paulo and we look forward returning in the near future.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Tanto Pedro como su mujer han sido encantadores, super atentos para proporcionarte la mejor calidad de servicio durante la estancia, sin ser intrusivos para nada. Además un muy buen detalle ofreciéndonos un regalo de bienvenida típico de la región

Tivemos uma estadia excelente! A Sónia nos recebeu com muita simpatia e carinho. A quinta é linda e a casa é aconchegante. Voltaremos com certeza!

Все было идеально! Жилье выглядит даже лучше чем на фото. Очень удобное, продуманное и красивое жилье. Есть все для длительного проживания. Очень комфортная кровать, удобный диван, кухня оснащена всем необходимым и прекрасная терраса. Мы провели здесь месяц и с уверенность могу рекомендовать это жилье. Расположение отличное, это самый центр города и очень тихо. Магазины, продуктовые магазины, бары и рестораны рядом.

Die Unterkunft war hervorragend!!! Blitzsauber und luxuriös ausgestattet. Ich fühlte mich sehr verwöhnt und habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ich kann die Wohnung nur jedem empfehlen. Meine Gastgeber waren sehr geduldig und überaus freundlich, obwohl ich viel später ankam, als geplant.

We loved our stay at Elisabete’s place . She and her husband are good people . Elisabete also arranged for a late night taxi back to the airport . The apartment is spotless , clean and is located perfectly for the ones without a car . There was good heating and air conditioning . The location is exceptional and the best in the area for the ones without a car . There are two huge supermarkets ( Continente and Lidl ) within immediate vicinity . Also there are lovely restaurants within walking distance . Burger King is 5 mins walk away . Public transport ( Bus ) is a 15 min walk away . And the lovely picturesque town of Amarante is 15 mins walk away . Our three little kids enjoyed their walk to the centre of Amarante . We used public transport to get to Guimaraes, Porto and the train station . On days when we wanted to stay at home , we simply enjoyed the unobstructed view from the balcony with a glass of a cool drink . We have stayed in many Air bnbs but this is the best so far .
