The Milking Parlour @ Berthlwyd

DanielRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A gem of a find! Perfect for a weekend of rugby in Cardiff or visiting a daughter at USW! Lovely accommodation in lovely surroundings - the photos don’t do it justice to be honest. Craig was a very friendly host and the Welsh cakes and milk were a nice touch! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cottage, Nelson, near Bike Park Wales & Zip World

LeoniRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Me and my 5 friends plus two small dogs stayed at Julie’s place as a base before Barry 10k on the Sunday. It was just what we were looking for, lovely clean rooms and cosy social areas. We did the local park run on the Saturday morning which was a lovely route and really friendly volunteers. Had a beautiful breakfast at the colliers farm cafe and returned home for some social time. We popped to the railway pub for an afternoon drink which was just down the road from the house and has a lovely beer garden. Overall we absolutely loved the cottage and our break away. Would 100% return again.

My Place at Gilfach Cynon

ManjuRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a great experience staying here! The host was excellent—very welcoming, responsive, and communicative throughout the stay. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and just as described—definitely a great place to live or stay for a while. The only downside was the car park access, which is through a narrow road suitable only for small cars. However, the host clearly informed me about this before booking, so there were no surprises. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

Welsh Getaway Home 2 - 10 mins to Bike Park Wales

Had a lovely time walking in the Brecon Beacons. This was a great base and a lovely house to come back to. We didn't have a car with us, but found it very convenient. It's within walking distance of the Brecon Mountain railway and there's a bus that can take you closer to Pen Y Fan. Great hosts, very clear communication and the house had everything we needed. Thank you!

Miskin cottage

Great place to spend the night between trips to Cardiff and to Penderyn. The house is sparkling clean, well furnished, easy to find, easy to park. Many usb slots in the leaving room : always helpful. But the surroundings are a bit ugly and there’s nothing much to do at a walking distance. We tried to go for a run in the forest but it was full of wastes.

Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

Barn with pool + fitness studio

Such a lovely place to stay. We only booked for two nights and wish we had been there for longer. Lots of really interesting features (a suit of armour! A harp!) in a well stocked house. Very comfortable beds and sofas, beautiful views (we especially enjoyed all the bird nesting in the eaves), gorgeous interior, starry Dark Skies and nice hosts - what's not to love? Great parking. Wish we could have had a few more nights, to check out the pub just down the road.

Great caravan, great location! Literally what it says on the tin! was clean and tidy. More spacious than I thought it was going to be! Sea view, nice relaxed club house, very quiet site. We even arrived early and were able to check in! had a very small issue with gas/boiler, Sam & Jake responded within minutes and the issue was fixed promptly with no waiting around! The peaceful setting and thoughtful touches made it a truly memorable experience. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, and the whole place is ideal for families, with a great outdoor play area for the kids. Jan is a great and friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Vale Wild Cherry - Farm with stunning views

VivRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
beautiful views and with the upside house layout it made the most of this. Working farm, but very quiet. Although you didn't feel you needed to tell children to be quiet all the time. Pool and hot tub were great additions, and my girls loved spending time in there. I possibly read the desciption wrong, but I hadn't realised before that the washing machine was shared and only available when the pool was. It worked for us and was fine, I just needed to be more organised! Danielle was very quick to respond to all messages and communicated really well with any info we needed. Lovely to meet her at the start to put a face to the name. Would definately recomend and hope to come again. Ideal to travel the half hour to the Hay festival!

We had a lovely stay at no. 2! We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The house was even better than the pictures, beautifully decorated, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We really loved the wood burner, which made it super cosy on the cold evening. There were great walks just outside the house which took you along waterfall paths through the woods. Our hosts were friendly and available throughout the stay if we needed anything, but equally the house was fully private. Would recommend staying here and we hope to be back again to do more exploring! Thanks for a lovely stay 😊

Owners Residence in the Brecon Beacons

HelenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Family group of ten really enjoyed our stay at Nantes Ddu. The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting together at the long table for meals and relaxing in the sitting room. We loved using the hotel pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Some of us booked spa treatments while others enjoyed BikePark Wales which is only 15 minutes away. The bar was very welcoming too. Two big fridges, freezer and dishwasher were all well used. Kitchen could do with more crockery, cutlery and baking trays, but that was only slightly annoying aspect. Great holiday enjoyed by everyone, thank you.
A serene campsite is situated beside a gently flowing stream, surrounded by grassy fields and trees. Colorful tents are pitched in the open space, with rolling hills visible in the background under a clear blue sky. Wildflowers line the banks of the stream.

Booked for friends from Cordoba, Spain. The location was great as they wanted to be near us, we also live in the village of Trefil. They wanted calm, peaceful surroundings and that’s just what the cottage gave them. They enjoyed their first ever visit to Wales and the cottage was everything they dreamt it would be! They were especially thrilled by the new lambs that were running around in the nearby field, not a sight They are used to! Thank you Oriel for helping make their holiday one to remember!
