This property is spectacular! Fabulous hiking, huge pond, a basement filled with fun (pool, ping pong, air hockey, and SO many games). Even with less than stellar weather, we were able to fully enjoy the house and property. There are plenty of covered spaces to enjoy the stellar views and stay dry. The fireplace and wood (thank you!!) meant that we were warm and cozy for our stay. Thank you for sharing this lovely property!!

This home was just out of this world. The architecture, the details, everything was just beautiful. Mary Beth was accommodating with various requests and was extremely responsive with everything. I would recommend this home to anyone!

David and Andrea’s home was the perfect location for our girls getaway weekend. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for our meals. The gathering space was large and accommodating. Their home was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area.

I can’t say enough about how absolutely fabulous this house is and how great Tamara is as a host- communication was excellent and she was quick to respond to any questions. The house and outdoor areas are beautiful, well maintained & comfortable, and everything you could possibly need is provided. My family was in town over a long Memorial Day weekend for my nephew’s wedding which was held at another of Tamara’s properties (also spectacular!) just 2 miles up the road so this property was so convenient for us. We had an A+++ experience and highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay with a large family. We never once felt crowded. Everyone had their own space to relax. The kids bedroom was amazing and the kids loved being able to explore the house and property with us. We were in for a family wedding at a nearby venue and made the cake in the kitchen here and had an amazing amount of space to work with. I’d highly recommend this place to a friend. If we have to come back to the area in the future we’d happily book again. The hosts were very nice. Also the peacocks are amazingly beautiful.

Great place for a family getaway. Minutes from Gettysburg, but felt so remote at times. The Pickelball court was absolutely amazing. Some great family bonding matches! Most importantly, when we had a couple of questions, Elmer was super responsive. Probably my best experience from a host over 10+ years of doing whole-house rentals like this. We wrapped up every night by building a fire and making smores.

I stayed here with my family and a friend's family (4 adults and 4 kids) and it was the perfect size for us. Amazing place! It's pretty rare that you're able to go for a meaningful hike without even leaving the property you're renting. We had a nice time hanging out at the house, fishing in the pond, hiking the trails, and generally exploring the area. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Great location, beautiful nature around, quiet and cozy. The owner answered as quickly and clearly as possible, the pictures do not show a place for a fire outside, and when we arrived and saw that it was there, we were pleasantly surprised. Naturally, it is very cool that there is a sauna and a swimming pool, and it all works, I think this is an ideal place to relax with friends, we liked everything, and I think we will come back again. 🙂

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s retreat. The home is spacious across both levels, making it perfect for our large family. It’s beautifully furnished-comfortable, tasteful and uncluttered. The kitchen is generously equipped. The massive deck is a real highlight. With plenty of seating, two heaters and a grill. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to connect with nature and truly unwind. Check-in and check-out were easy. The house is exactly as advertised- no surprises, just a great experience. My girlfriends and I went to Hood College and the 25th year reunion brought us back to Frederick. Kristopher's house was the perfect house to accommodate the eight of us. Plus, the friends that live in the area were able to stop by and come visit. It was easy to find, we walked to downtown Frederick on Friday and Saturday. It really made our reunion weekend so amazing and we would stay again. Thank you Kristopher for your warm and inviting home and the lovely hospitality!

Eric’s home is amazing!! We were a group of women celebrating 26 years of loving friendship, support and sisterhood. We could not have asked for a better home and location to create more memories in our shared journey together. From the unique features of Eric’s home to the fabulous location, everything was perfect! We decided to mostly cook at home. But not to be missed around town: a fabulously fun belly dancing class with Angela of Bellysima. Google her - she’s amazing! We decided to really embrace the experience and went home to Eric’s to cook a full Moroccan dinner! The historic Roman baths in the center of town. The view from Prospect Peak at sunset. And we were fortunate enough to inadvertently pick the weekend of the annual Fairie Festival which was a magical experience. We enjoyed the hot tub, the speakeasy - both of which were so fun to wind down the night and enjoy each other’s company. And appreciated that all bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. An amazing home!! Thank you!!

Wonderful home, just a short walk from river riders. Where you can do some awesome adventures around Harpers Ferry. Can sleep large groups easily. Plenty of dishes to use for cooking, eating, and the great grill outside.

We had a great stay for a multigenerational boys weekend. Amazing to get out into nature! The house was as described - great blend of comfortable while rustic enough to make you feel like you are in nature.

We had a great golf weekend in the area and really liked the accommodations. It was private, enough to fit 8 golfers, and close to many of the course we played. We will go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay!! 😊 Even though we were only there for one night, we took full advantage of the backyard, the fire table, and the entire house! Location was perfect for visiting Shippensburg University. Meagan was very accommodating and replied to every message. She even directed us to a local pizza place when asked who had the best pizza in town. We also enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch as the local Amish rode by in their buggys. I would highly recommend staying here, definitely well worth it!

Loved this cabin!!! It’s older than the ones in the area but is such an amazing steal for the cost!! Gorgeous wraparound porch and nice layout. It’s an older cabin in the middle of the woods so there’s some bugs but that’s what you sign up for in the woods. Really loved this place and would love to come back

The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet with a group of friends and our two dogs. The place and bedrooms were spacious and very comfortably fit 6 plus the pets. The location is fairly private and remote, in a peaceful and quiet resort community in Berkeley Springs, a cute tiny town. The place was well-stocked and Jonathan and Amy were responsive. There were some HOA restrictions to contend with, such as quiet hours, but nothing major. Our only complaint would be that the outdoor areas, including the fenced porched, were not cleaned, and so had lots of dust and webs that had to be cleaned to use. Still, would recommend and stay again!

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

A must see for any Harry Potter fans! We were busy with a wedding weekend in nearby Leesburg, and it was a perfect place to be inbetween events. Lots of Hogwarts themed activities, including creative scavenger hunts and two escape rooms. Our kids and grandkids absolutely loved it. It is really a destination all by itself, and Nate was a perfect host.

This is by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet. Rana was extremely welcoming and responsive. We even left items and she messaged me to let me know and arranged to get them back to me. The home is immaculate, beautiful, charming, and had even more room than we anticipated. It was a perfect place for family dinner and game nights. I grew up in this area, so coming back is always fun, in addition to the handful of need to do things, like Creekside Market, Berkeley Springs State Park, Cacapon State Park, Lot 12 restaurant, The Naked Olive…. We had 8 people in our party and we were more than comfortable. I will 100% come back here!!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.
