We love our place on the Mendenhall River! Eagles, bears, deer, porcupine, and otters are common sights in the backyard while the soft rush of the glacier-fed stream provides a soothing background. We are located in the upper Mendenhall Valley, just a 5 minute drive from the Mendenhall Glacier & 3 minute walk to the Brotherhood Bridge trail which takes you into deep old forest almost immediately. The river is ever changing and always beautiful & peaceful. We are available, but don’t intrude.

Had an amazing time at Amah's! It was exactly as described quiet, peaceful, family setting. Amah and her family were friendly and answered any questions that we had. We got to do and see everything that we wanted. The view from the apartment was breathtaking! I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Juneau.
