Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The cabin is located on the mainland just 1 hour drive from Mo i Rana and 3 min from the ferry and speedboat dock that takes you out to the islands. Immediate proximity to the beach where there are opportunities for kiting, paddling, diving, etc. In addition, there are beautiful hiking areas and mountains in all directions. The cabin was built in 2023.

Mini house with all facilities. Nature is waiting right outside. Fishing opportunities right outside the door, by the fjord or in Beiarelva. Fantastic starting point for outdoor activities in the nearby area. Fjord and mountains within a distance of 10 minutes. Kitchen with induction cooktop, oven and dishwasher. TV and AppleTV. Nice cabin (60 m2 + loft) for rent preferably on a weekly basis. The cabin is located close to tourist information in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds Loft w/ 3 sleeping places. Bathroom w/ washing machine, shower, toilet. Open living room/kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dining table, sofa group, wireless internet and TV (Canal digital). Terrace with seating area, great view and barbecue. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

Oldefarstua- by the sea

The whole group will be comfortable in this peaceful and spacious place. 4 bedrooms, private TV room, workplace with a view, dining area both in the kitchen and in the living room. Nice view from most rooms. Spacious terrace and large lawn. The house is newly renovated in its original 50-60s style, focusing on the environment and reuse. Sandy beach and the sea is just nearby. We have wild and beautiful nature around us on all sides, and bright summer nights as well as winter storms can be enjoyed here.

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
