Very nice, clean apartment in a quiet location - great view from the balcony. The arrival was a bit complicated, as the address provided is not the accommodation and we had some trouble finding the meeting point mentioned by Proenca. Once we found it, we were warmly welcomed. The parking is not directly at the house, but only a few minutes' walk away. During the power outage, Proenca personally came by and brought us flashlights and candles. We had an amazing experience overall and would come back.

Very friendly host, advice on restaurants in Arcos, walk on passadicos . Region to discover by Geres, Soajo and Lindoso for espigheiros, but traditional granaries. Village of Sistelo, Moncao, Vila nova de Cerveira. Don't forget Ponte de Lima. Taste the wineho verde produced from the region, as well as the arroz de sarrabulho. Quinta Lamoso is a green setting, quiet, swimming pool ,river and "guinguette" 15 minutes walk.

A brilliant stay, very comfortable peaceful house in a private location near to the start of many hiking trails. The pool was fantastic, the lounge and beds were really comfortable and light and airy Great view over the village and valley. Andre was a great host- helped with the route to the house, and sent us individualised walking routes The local restaurant has not yet opened this season but he sent details of one ☝️ n the next village and rang them to check it was open for us. A great host thankyou

we spent a 4-day weekend there with our 3-year-old daughter. Everything necessary is present, very clean apartment. Real plus with air conditioning in August. Small touches left by Monica very much appreciated.

Lovely and really nice apartment with all the amenities that you would expect....only minus was a missing living room , but otherwise nothing to complain about....and André very helpful with information and with accommodation, etc. Extremely comfortable person who was ready...with his knowledge and always with his help around the clock

It was a pleasure to stay at Quinta da Vila Nova. Ângela and Nuno were very kind and always available to help with whatever needed. Camellias' apartment is beautiful, spacious and was a great choice for a pleasant and quiet holiday week. 5 stars.

AMAZING host & facility !!! I cannot express enough how attentive, caring and friendly the host Fernanda and her husband were since the minute we arrived. They showcased a level of care and consideration that went above and beyond from the moment we made the booking. They even came to our aid after we took few wrong turns which put us on the other side of town. Fernanda maintained constant contact to ensure all was good and if there was anything she can do to make our stay even better, she treated us like family. The apartment is well located and very safe. It was nicely decorated, clean, cozy and met all of our expectations away from home. We don’t have anything negative to say, but the contrary, we highly recommend you give Fernanda a chance to impress. “Keep up the good work”

Our stay in Sistelo was magical. The view from the patio and windows was gorgeous as it looked out onto the terraces. The cottage is adorable, with modern appliances and a cozy feel. We also loved Sistelo as a town. There are some nice walking trails nearby and the local restaurant Tasquinha Ti Melia was amazing.

Well-equipped home with all amenities you may need. Wonderful scenery around and with easy to access trails. Recommended!

What an amazing gem of a restored stone house right on the banks of the river! It way exceeded my expectations. The location is supreme and is just practically on top of the secret waterfall and swimming hole which I had to myself. I'd love to come back during the rainy season and see it then too. Truly magical. Highly recommended.

The place is very nice and the house in general is good. Need some arrangement and paint some of the walls. Being the bathroom next to the living room and having the sliding door, it does not fit well, so the smells in the drain come to the living room. Very uncomfortable if someone has to use the sofa bed to sleep there. The people who took care of us were very kind. We appreciate the welcome cake.

My family and I spent two nights there with our four puppies. If you are not used to these places check-in can be loud but there is really no loss with directions. Everything was spotless and it was like being at home. The area, as well as spectacular, is very quiet, and all the people are very friendly. Almost all the houses were rented and the people usually came in and out of the village, always very nice, especially the women who welcomed us and clean the house, all a charm!

Rui’s place is amazing, it looks even better than the pictures! Really comfortable and includes everything you need. The location makes it easy to drive to the local town in around 15 minutes and lots of routes to other sights within an hour. Rui was really helpful, sharing some good local tips and on hand to ask any questions.

Do you want a whole romantic, picture perfect village all to yourself? The house is at the literal end of the road in an old hearding village. The owners have completely remodeled the space to be extremely cozy and comfortable with all modern conveniences. We had both great and terrible weather during our stay and it was perfect for both. The location is right on several walking paths that take you to unbelievable scenery. Contrary to a couple of other reviews, both restaurants and a good grocery store are within 15 minutes. I guarantee you will be looking for more information on these abandoned historic villages by the time you leave. What an incredible experience.
