GH: Comfortable apartment at 3 KM from the center

Compleet ingericht bovenappartement met een groot balkon. Terrein is volledig omheind. Het appartement ligt op 10 minuten rijden van het historische centrum, de Kathedrale Basiliek. In iedere slaapkamer (3)een 2 persoons bed 160x200 met elk een eigen douche en wc. Parkeren naast het huis. Airco in de slaapkamers en woonkamer/keuken. Inbegrepen in de prijs: stroom 20 KWH/dag (ongeveer 8 uren airco en normaal gebruik van overige apparatuur). Kosten voor meer verbruik stroom is Euro 0,30/KWH.

Welcome and enjoy your stay in this beautiful very spacious apartment with herringbone hard wood floor in this colonial style building. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio with a beautiful view of my neighbours tropical garden. On the south side of the property you will see a pack of large green parrots at the top of the trees every morning around 6-7 am before they migrate to another area of the city. You may spot the occasional green leguana in the trees in the back.

A neatly organized closet features rich wooden panels. Inside, shelves and a small drawer provide ample storage space. The interior is well-lit, highlighting the clean lines and functional design, making it suitable for guest belongings.

W.A.T. Appartment - Like Home, in a historic city!

Een hele fijne tijd gehad in het appartement van Roxanne. De check-in en -uit verliep heel makkelijk. Zowel Roxanne als Annet en Arnie waren daarbij super aardig en behulpzaam. De boom in de achtertuin en de bomen in de straat geven wat extra verkoeling in een warm Paramaribo. Er zit een afgesloten buitengedeelte aan het appartement waar je schaduw en genoeg privacy hebt. De airco werkt goed en er is ook een ventilator die je bijvoorbeeld kunt gebruiken tegen de muggen. Het bed lag ook lekker! Alles bij elkaar een top ervaring gehad. Nogmaals bedankt!

We werden allereerst vriendelijk door de parkbeveiliging welkom geheten en deze wees ons het huis waar we moesten zijn. Daar was de man van Indra om ons te verwelkomen. We kregen van hem een korte rondleiding door het huis. Sleutel en garage badge werden overhandigd. Het was een mooi huis precies zoals de foto's op de site ook lieten zien. Een geweldige ruimte voor ons 3en. De man van Indra gaf ons nog een paar tips voor restaurants in de omgeving en een paar supermarkten waar we de eerste aankopen konden doen. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om je te kunnen verplaatsen. Het park is beveiligd wat je een veilig gevoel geeft. De gemiddelde tijd voor een rit naar Paramaribo via de hoge brug is ongeveer 25 min wat goed te doen is. We hebben ons heel goed vermaakt en veel gezien. Alles in huis was prima. We hebben ons best gedaan om het huis net zo achter te laten als dat wij het aantroffen op onze 1ste dag. Alles bij elkaar waren dit hele fijne dagen.

Als je op zoek bent naar rust, een mooie groene omgeving en een goede host die je de weg wijs maakt (mocht je daar behoefte aan hebben) dan is dit zeker een aanrader. Commewijne is verreweg van mijn favoriete plek in Suriname om te verblijven, en vooral Jagtlust. Het is er echt mooi groen. Mocht je naar het centrum willen...je bent er zo (20/30 min rijden). Wat het verblijf (en de locatie) ook zo bijzonder maakt, is dat er apen zijn (en nog veel meer exotische dieren). Erg indrukwekkend. Kortom, echt een aanrader!!

Appartement très bon ! Chambres complètes qui incluent draps de lit, couvertures et serviettes supplémentaires très propres. Nous avons trouvé un matelas de plus en chaque chambre et les lits sont énormes ! Quelques remarques : pas de shampooing et savon liquide, la machine à sécher ne marche plus. J'ai trouvé difficile de faire des courses aux grands supermarchés comme Choi's et Tulip, trop distant avec des enfants.

**Geweldig verblijf bij Ivonne en Robbert!** Wij hebben 11 dagen genoten in het prachtige huis *Jade*. Ivonne en Robbert waren geweldige hosts: gastvrij, attent en altijd bereikbaar. Het huis is ruim, brandschoon en stijlvol ingericht, met alle benodigde apparatuur. De badkamer met warm water was een genot! De 8 honden waren even wennen, maar erg lief. Hoewel we weinig bij de rivier zaten, genoten we vanuit de keukenbar van de natuur: we zagen vogels, apen en zelfs een luiaard! De drukke weg zorgde soms voor wat geluid, maar de rust en schoonheid van de omgeving maakten dat ruimschoots goed. Een fantastische plek met top hosts – 10/10, absoluut een aanrader!
