Complimentary use of bikes is available to enjoy the numerous coastal bike & walking paths. A car is recommended to take full advantage of all the area has to offer. Walk just 2 minutes to reach pristine Shelly and Angel beaches, with many coffee and dining options also only a stone’s throw away. These include local hangout Belle General, The Surf Club by the water, and the coffee and food cart at Flat Rock. The cottage is located next to world-class coastal walking and bike tracks that showcase our magnificent coastline. The studio is located at the rear of the main house and faces away from it so is quiet and private. There is rear lane entry and covered parking for one vehicle. Amenities include: wifi; a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker; separate bathroom; tv and dvd player; air conditioning; and a ‘5 star’ king size bed (super comfy!). Basics such as teabags, coffee, milk, and sugar are provided. There is a SPAR supermarket, bottle shop, post office and laundromat 200 metres away.

Serene and super confortable stay with amazing views. I find the studio quite luxurious - the bathroom and kitchen in particular. I'm still in awe of the quick heating stove! Host--Tahnee and her parents--has been extremely helpful in furnishing me with kitchen supplies (and more) since, being on carnivore diet, I cook everyday at home. Going to Ballina is a 30 minutes scenic walk, with beaches and the memorial pool on the way. I'm extremely looking forward to return next week for 2 more months of stay. Really wish I lived in Ballina (rather than Canada) renting this place!

the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

House is located on the most beautiful property. Surrounding creek was so peaceful. The two main bedrooms are large with really comfy beds. The ensuites in both rooms were beautifully renovated and perfectly clean. Paul was quick to respond and lovely to communicate with. We would love to stay again.

The home was even better than the photos, so peaceful and full of charm. Our dog Waffle had the absolute best time exploring the space (he didn’t want to leave!), and our friends’ little one was in heaven with so much to discover and enjoy. Our stay was an incredible experience — the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet. Although my colleagues and I were in the area for work, we still found time after hours to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. I especially loved going for runs around the property and picking fresh mandarins straight from the trees — such a simple pleasure. Sue was a fantastic host. She greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. She even went out of her way to offer an extra bed for the one night I stayed, which was greatly appreciated. The town itself was peaceful, with a relaxed, country-town vibe that felt far removed from the busyness of the Gold Coast. A truly calming escape.

Our stay at the Hunter Cabin was amazing - it is a perfect place to spend a winter weekend. The bed and linen are incredibly comfortable and the indoor fireplace is a cute feature. The only suggestion I would add is better signage at the driveway entrance for the cabin as it can be difficult to see! Thank you Billi.
