"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

Vacation home at Birkenhain

We offer a vacation apartment for 3 people (double bed, fold-out sofa bed) for non-smokers (+ travel crib available for children up to 3 years old). Pets are welcome. The house is located in a quiet new development area above the city. A parking space is right outside the door. The tourist tax of €2 per person per day must be paid on site in cash. For safety, there is a contactless check-in. If a personal handover is desired, please let us know in advance. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Quiet holiday home on the banks of the Nahe

The lovingly furnished, bright self-contained apartment located on the outskirts is less than 50 m from the banks of the Nahe and the barefoot path. It is about 64 square meters, has its own entrance with its own parking space. It is equipped with a new kitchen, a bedroom with a cozy 1.80 double bed, a living and dining room with TV, as well as a comfortable bathroom with a floor-level shower and toilet & a small terrace. Towels, sheets and a hairdryer are available free of charge.

Coronavirus info: The apartment is Corona-safe through a separate entrance The apartment is in the Nahe Valley on the outskirts of the village directly at our Avarella stud farm above our veterinary practice. It is modern, cozy and offers a great view of our valley with the pastures. To the front, a small balcony invites you to relax, facing the Nahe Valley. There are two spacious bedrooms with large closets for plenty of storage space. The dining room is furnished for 6 people.

Whether you want to visit your child in the clinic, plan a bike ride with friends or go hiking. At deinFerienhaus Scheliga you will always find the right thing. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Asklepios Clinic. 20 minutes. We are happy to provide you with one of our private bicycles free of charge - all you need to do is bring your own bike lock. The train station is about a 5-minute walk. Surrounding shops and restaurants as well as cafes are also within walking distance.

This sunlit former mine nestles against the rock like a swallow’s nest, directly below Burg Gutenfels and along the Rheinsteig trail - far from train and traffic noise. Enjoy the shaded terrace beneath the vine arbor and the herb garden. From your secluded sun meadow, you overlook the Rhine, passing ships, and the historic Pfalzgrafenstein castle.

Smart TV (Sky, DAZN) living room, TV in bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, sofa can be used as a sofa bed for one person, covered balcony overlooking Moselhöhe, bicycle, motorcycle garage, toddler beds and high chairs on request, playground, bicycle path directly from the house, parking, supermarkets 800 m, path to the city without inclines, children are welcome! The apartment is an excellent starting point for exploring the Rhine-Main region, the Soonwald and Hunsrück. The wines from the region are excellent, and the numerous award-winning hiking trails are real insider tips.

Vacation apartment in the musicians' house

The builder of this house, Ludwig Jacob, moved like many Mackenbacher into the world to earn a living for his family with his music. In 1906 he was able to build this house in the style of the usual "musicians' houses" here. In 2014 we set up the apartment on one floor and are always happy to welcome guests from all over the world. We also speak English. Discover the Lützelsoon and Soonwald - a dream for nature lovers in every season. Or just relax and enjoy the fresh air.
