It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months the water from the dam is released on week-ends which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.
