Place was great. Came to visit my son who wasnt able to come home for Thanksgiving. Ended up cooking several meals for his soccer team. Kitchen was so spacious. Very comfortable. Enjoyed my visit!

Nice spot in downtown Lindsborg. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of space for a group of 4 adults. Host proactive in communication and helpful.

Very charming old house that's been updated right across a very cool little city park. The beds were comfortable and the linens etc. were clean and new. Nice place to stay that was exactly as advertised

Akerhuset welcomed us into a peaceful, loving space. It was amazing that a house actually gave all of us sisters the safety to let go of our busy lives and come together to refresh and renew our bonds. This may sound rather ethereal, but this house is a wonderful space, from the cleanliness to the beautiful appointments, to the neighborhood - all of this created an atmosphere of caring and comfort. The bedrooms are good sized, and we loved that each room had its own 1/2 or full bath. The kitchen is great with plenty of dishes. We loved being able to walk to town. We also loved the porch in the early morning and in the evening listening to the birds and to each other's dreams. This actually turned into a retreat for us and the house played a great part in allowing that to happen. Thank you so much for this beautiful space.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Having bathrooms attached to each bedroom was a plus when travelling with adult children. We would definitely stay here again.

We rented this home for five of our in-laws from Massachusetts who were here for a reception for our children and for the annual car show at McPherson College. They loved Jodi's place! Couldn't stop talking about how much they liked it and how clean it was. They appreciated the comfortable beds, the large living area where they could all be together, and the short walk to the college. They want to stay here every time they come to visit. Jodi was very gracious and accommodating. We wanted to provide breakfast items and additional snacks and welcome gifts. Jodi made it possible for us to gain entry before check-in time to put things in place. This was a five-star stay in every sense of the word and helped us and the town of McPherson make a good first impression on our new in-laws!

The stairs are the only drawback, once you opened the door to the loft you stepped back in time. It was mesmerizing, we could only imagine the stories behind so many of the pieces that we will never know. I would like to know more about the opera house itself and also if further restoration of the location is planned. This place was immaculately clean and well kept. 6 adults and we didn't bump into each other, we slept well and our daughter and husband and 2 kids came over for a bit and still plenty of room to visit and hang out in the living room. Just a wonderful experience all around. Thank you for the work you have done to this loft and offering it to the public. We loved our stay, so comfy. Literally one of the very best places we have ever stayed.

If you want a quiet, peaceful place to stay in the country then stay here! This quaint old farmhouse is so homey and inviting...from the old outbuildings and farm cats outside, to the books and games and comfy furniture inside. The beds were so comfortable...all our needs were met and we just very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again. Randy and Starla are wonderful accommodating hosts!

Peaceful, cozy, darling place. Extra touches were appreciated. The many plants gave it a homey feel and extras in kitchen were sweet. You’d never know it was an older house. I’m sensitive to smells/odors and this place was fresher than MY house!
