Trailhead Haven

Trailhead Haven is located within a mile of Matewan and the trail system. We have plenty of room. 6 rooms with king size beds, queen sleeper sofa, futon, full size kitchen, 3 bathrooms, washer /dryer, living room with a foozeball game, saltwater swimming pool( in season) and a hot tub. We have wi-fi, security cameras, no trailering and ample room for parking . There's gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants nearby for anything you may need. Come stay with us and make a lifetime of memories!

This is not just a place for trail riders but has been used by people attending family reunions and local festivals. Creekside Lodge is within the town limits of Delbarton where there are several restaurants, a small general store, and soon to open Dollar General. Trail riders will pass a local gas station on the way to the trail head.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Matewan Jail…I was concerned that it being so close to the road and the railroad tracks that it would be noisy but in fact it was very quiet..loved the decor super cute and fun..I’m sooo glad this building was preserved..the jail very clean and comfy…would recommend anyone staying there

Clean and comfy house to stay in while riding trails. Host is always very responsive and very easy to work with.

Almost Heaven Vacations

The house was easy to get to and it's just a few minutes from the town of Matewan. There's a gas station just up the road and you can access the Devils Anse system from the main road. The place is great. Extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Having the garage to park our machines was a huge plus for us. Jim's communication was timely. He answered back in minutes. He even provides trail passes which takes care of having to go get them. No hesitation. This is a really nice house in a great location. Book with confidence.

The pool and hot tub were major highlights—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Super clean, peaceful, and private. The hosts were responsive and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!

If you like trains, you are staying in the right spot! Very comfortable bed. A nice retreat from riding the trails all day. Close to trailhead and also close to a Hatfield parking area. Convenient to stay at in location to Buffalo Mountain trail entrance. Grady is a very responsive and helpful host!
