Kristen was a fantastic host! I booked a year in advance, and she was very helpful from start to finish. The stay was perfect for our out-of-town guest! Location, cleanliness and great communication was top notch!

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

We had a great stay celebrating our 10 year anniversary and also a birthday. The house has everything you could need and we loved cooking on the grill and loved that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The house is the perfect layout for kids and dogs as well and the hot tub felt amazing after we hiked Crabtree Falls. The proximity to town and the local pie shop was perfect. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to come stay again.

My fiance and I were able to book the cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The house was very clean, cute and perfect for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (bring your own seasonings though), and got restful sleep! We were beyond grateful to enjoy this home for the weekend! The biggest complaints on the reviews are the wifi and the driveway... we didn't have any issues with either personally.. but if you're afraid to get your car dirty or need to work the whole trip, maybe pick something closer to town.. otherwise its perfect to unplug and unwind!

Cabin was amazing to stay at, everything was prefect and the host had everything perfectly organized and had many different things for us to use. Such as games, hot tub , grilling supplies, fire pit. It was a great time and my wife and I enjoyed it. It is really close to the city, the food around the cabin was amazing. The people in the area were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going here.

The scenery is as good as (even better!) the photos, and the cabin is really lovely and well-designed. We enjoyed our short stay here a lot!

This place was heavenly! The home is beautiful, the amenities Taylor provides are endless (spices, towels, toiletries, etc), and we had such a fun stay here. It rained for most of our stay but the covered patio allowed us to still spend hours outside. When we weren’t on the porch we were using the game room or cuddled up on the couch. We cannot wait to come back. If you have a chance- eat at Vinny’s! We went back 2x

We really enjoyed our weekend at Cruising Altitude. The cabin was situated on the slope along a quiet inlet of the lake. It had a large deck under the shade of trees, perfect for sitting. The cabin was cozy and clean. I would stay there again.

The cabin is rustic. It's set on top of a hill in an opening in the woods on an active sheep farm. The views from the farm are stunning. It couldn't be any more private and any more beautiful. The front porch was ideal for enjoying a cup of morning tea. The bedroom comfortably fits two people. The loft is spacious and fits 1-2 people. Sarah was a very responsive, kind, and accommodating hostess. She welcomed us with some of her own farm fresh eggs, tasty homemade blueberry muffins, juice, creamer, and coffee. The cabin is located 10-12 minutes from downtown Lexington. The bathroom could be more private, but I would definitely rent the cabin again and Sarah was fantastic.

Gem of a place! So happy to find a dog friendly spot in this prime location and then have it be super comfy and modern on the inside. We were able to get to Va Tech easily and also the best trail in the Blue Ridge! Hope to come back again! Thanks for being pet friendly!

One of life’s milestones, spent five days in a cabin by a beautiful river, We were there with our four adult children, sitting on the front porch, just chatting and wading in the river, couple evenings of fires in the fire pit, and two sit-down dinners in the screened enclosure. Fantastic. Late night runs to the nearby Cook-Out, for shakes and fries. And five minutes to SVU, VMI, and W & L. Not in the boondocks, but it’s very very remote and unspeakably beautiful.

We loved staying at Cedars Rest! It was the most perfect property, extremely quiet. Safe location, easily accessible to local places - winery, wedding venues, etc. thank you for a great weekend getaway!!

On our way home from Florida, had never been to Radford area before other than staying on the interstate nearby. The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood close to everything, inside is very large with a second bedroom upstairs, large kitchen and comfortable living room. Very clean and quiet, it's only a half mile or so to several bars and restaurants. The host was terrific, left us check in early, gave us recommendations for restaurants a bargain compared to hotel rooms. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Alex's beautiful restored two story log cabin when in my hometown for a family reunion. The location in Lewisburg was perfect for our needs. The home was spotless and full of character. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen because we had to make a dish to bring to the reunion while there. It is walkable to Food and Friends, Hill and Holler, Cafe Del Sol, and other shops, etc. The screened in porch was cozy. We would definitely stay again on a return trip.

Our family loved this cabin and all the porches with places to sit and enjoy the sunset and fog rising from the valleys. Everything was perfect! Once you get used to the road and learn the short cut it’s easy to manage. Great water pressure and clean outside and in, beautifully maintained and landscaped. We also found the antiques and their descriptions interesting and thoughtful. We also were very comfortable with the furniture and bedding. Also, part of the decor was repurposed lighting and functional pieces, which was also appreciated and showed a proactive respect for the environment. Charlie, was very informative, knowledgeable and timely with all correspondence. Thank you for the stay!

We loved our stay at Andy’s place! It was well-located for hiking (Sharp Top and Apple Orchard Falls were our favorites) and getting to town for groceries, a few meals out, etc. Sitting on the porch was lovely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking at the cabin. Would definitely recommend to others as well as stay here again ourselves!

If you are looking for a wonderful, quiet place directly on the river, this is it! This outdoor property is fabulous. Large screen porch and a deck that sets right on the river. The sound and view are great. Inside is comfortable and well set up. Rhonda is super nice. She will definitely make your stay perfect.

Exactly as advertised. Lovely log cabin on a beautiful property. We enjoyed walking the trails with our dogs every day. The kitchen was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The WiFi worked great. We had multiple people working online at the same time. We will definitely stay again!

We walked up the steps past a wooden stump, freshly chainsawed into a 6’ bear! Upon entering, we were delighted by the snacks Rhonda prepared for us. The bear theme continued inside with a bear blanket and with bear shower curtain hangers. The thought of leaving Rhonda’s cozy cabin was unbearable!
