Such a beautiful place, in a great location in Kizimkazi to depart for snorkling and daulphin trips. The guide we went with Alba, booked with the hotel, is very nice and a great captain. Furthermore, the hotel is offering very good meal and a wide range of activities inside the hotel. I definitely recomend!

It was a great time with the Penina family! I remember with warmth evenings with this family. I have never learned so many new words in Swahili as in that week))) As for the house, it is a quiet and very clean place where you can relax and gain strength. There are local shops near the house where you can buy food and drinks There is a large supermarket 15 minutes away. Nearby there are many bus stops for public transport, as well as a bus station with intercity buses You can also use Penita's kitchen if you want to cook something for yourself. Also, there is always drinking water in the house. Penita's brother drove me several times on various business in his Bajaja (last time very early in the morning to the bus station) at a good price and supported me with advice. Penita will also tell you about everything you may need and tell you where and how best to do it. I will definitely return to Penita the next time I am in town!

The house is good, the neighborhood is amazing and neat, and the beach is awesome, the kids loved it, will definitely come back next time.

Magical Stay in Makunduchi This cliffside bungalow was an absolute dream. Waking up to ocean views, falling asleep to the sound of waves, and watching the most stunning sunsets every evening, it was everything I hoped for and more. Amina and her daughter Adeline were incredible hosts. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with everything. I felt completely at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape in Zanzibar with heartfelt hospitality, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful house in a heaven of peace not far from Dar, a staff very responsive with Omari. I highly recommend this place to rest for few days. I’ll come back few times.

Had a great stay. The rooms are really clean and cool. Great food in the restaurant and really nice staff. The tour operator Toby organized a fantastic dolphin watching and snorkeling trips!

Kusini Beach Bungalows is a paradise spot. The bungalows are cosy and clean. Pool and common areas are white sanded and beautifully designed. We played a local game with the staff. They help with all your circumstances. The kitchen is great and open all day.

Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

Very happy stay at Aya beach. Beautiful view from the pool and restaurant. Walkable to the village. Responsive and very friendly staff. Very clean room. Top notch.

This place is amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would! Beautiful accommodation in such a beautiful and welcoming location. Every member of the staff are so warm and welcoming. They greet you by name and ensure you feel comfortable and safe. This was very important to me as a single woman traveling alone. They accommodated my food requests and soon knew my favorite drink before I asked for it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sunsets to die for! This place is a little slice of heaven! I will most definately be back!

We had a nice stay at Zenies place. The house was in a good place with lots of shopping areas, fast food and restaurants if you don’t have time to cook and amazing ocean view(right by the ocean) My dad fell in love with the house as he likes good things. Zenie was really nice and patient with us when I was late to extend our stay. I’m glad I found a nice place I can always stay when I’m in Dar es salaam without wasting too much time looking for something that is within my taste. I would definitely recommend this place to Airbnb community.

Larita Place is spacious, with beautiful views that look even better than the pictures. The host is truly awesome and provides excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and didn’t expect such high quality. 100% recommended - don’t hesitate, or you’ll miss out!

Wow! This is what this totally hidden gem of a place! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home literally localated on the beach. Super friendly staff that will always try and accommodate your requests. Winny and Joseph and the masai security took great care of us. The private gardens are enormous with plenty of seating areas to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host Sabrina was such a kind and thoughtful host, she even took time out to come visit us. She recommended great places to order food from and even arranged a local massage therapist to come visit. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hidden home to anyone wanting the luxury of a beach front getaway.

Aida’s place offered such a relaxing and very welcoming environment. Being that the property is right by the beach was very exciting for us. The apartment was spotless, and she offered complementary cleaning which came in handy. The cleaning lady was very kind to accept our request for helping with our dirty laundry. When it comes to communication, Aida is one of a kind. Not only did she effectively communicate, but she was attentive to all our needs and even concerns. She offered suggestions and solutions in order to ensure the guests felt comfortable. As days went by we realized that we picked an airbnb right in the middle of everywhere. It was conveniently close to anywhere we had interest in going. I would stay at Aida’s anytime i visit Dar Es Salaam.
