There is a tiny patio outside with seating. 28km to the Nürburgring. 4 hiking paths are just outside the front door. Very quiet country village. A quiet and cozy place with fantastic views of the vastness. The small house is called "Sonnenhaus" and is located in the wonderful, nature-surrounded town of Aremberg in the Eifel. The sun house has a living room, a bedroom (with double bed and desk) and a kitchen-living room with fireplace. There is an outdoor toilet. Showers are possible in the house opposite by arrangement. Since there is no heating except for the two fireplaces, the property is only rented in summer.

Comfortable holiday home in the heart of old town Ahrweiler. Completly remodeled appartment in a landmarked town house of 1765. The station is just about 5 minutes away. This also apllies to the famous "Rotweinwanderweg". For a fast shopping or a cup of coffee you just have to leave the front door. Free WiFi available. It's a quiet place but right in the middle.

Wilhelm was very service minded, and could give us some recommendations about where to eat and walk in the surroundings. Due to the floods last year, you can't trust everything google maps tells you. Some smaller roads are not yet repaired. The rotweinwanderweg is intact though, so you can hike and follow the arrows without worry!! It's easiest to get to the accommodation by car, but we travelled by train, and our host was very nice and picked us up at the nearby train station. We got a very nice breakfast at the outside terrace. Our room had a comfortable bed, and a view of the quiet surrounding forests. The calmness gave very good nights sleep!
