Arrived in a sublime home for a weekend getaway with the family. The cottage is perfectly located among the trees with a terrace overlooking the river, no opposite! Everything was clean and tidy, so yes there is no internet and very little cellular network but just what it takes to do the minimum. And finally it feels good to really pick up! The place is on the other hand quite remote so nothing nearby, there is a convenience store 10 minutes to the south but I recommend moving to the village of "la tuque" to the north it is a small 30 minutes and there is a maxi and other shops to refuel the cottage if needed. In addition, for the outings we strongly recommend the small park just before "la tuque" because there is a health trail around a beautiful waterfall as well as a children's park and cabins with stories about the local history so very interesting. Patrick responds very quickly and is very accommodating. Thanks again Patrick

We had a wonderful time at Laurence and Patrick's! Everything was exactly as described in the cottage. The family cottage made us feel right at home, while being completely exotic thanks to the stunning lake views. We had everything we needed: the cottage was very well equipped, with wood available and the possibility of using the jacuzzi, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This home was a true experience. The pictures do not do this property justice. In addition to perfection, having real time support and communication from the host made traveling out of state more comfortable. If you are traveling with a dog, it is a dream vacation! This chalet was everything, perfect for our little group. We were coming off a long work week full of turmoil and stress and this chalet was what we needed. It’s a perfect design that’s thought out so it doesn’t only look and feel like luxury, but also brings beautiful details around the house to make you more comfortable and the stay more enjoyable - the sound system, sauna and jacuzzi that are easily accessible and convenient, a lovely fully equipped kitchen with a view of the distant mountain and a cozy living room in a pristine layout and design. The owners were kind and thoughtful, always responsive and communicative. The home is capped off by their good hearts and human spirit. 10/10, 5 Stars, Lovely home, lovely people.

What a beautiful chalet!! It had almost every single thing we could've possibly needed. Secluded, far away neighbours (exactly what we were looking for). Gorgeous hot tub, cozey and clean kitchen, living room. Had 1 issue with the lock combination not working, but didn't last too long. Living room bug screen had holes, and there were dirty "leftovers" in the washing machine's filter from previous guests (floss stick, hairs). Otherwise, very clean!! Several towels available after all, so we didn't have to bring our own. LOTS OF MOSUITOS & INSECTS!! Please come prepared lol. Overall super happy with our stay, very very nice cottage, sould love to go back during another season with less bugs. Merci Daniel! :)

Great stay to disconnect in the middle of winter, we loved the peacefulness of the place and the comfort of the accommodation! The jaccuzi was very nice, as were the small hiking trails (feasible in snowshoes or boots depending on the area). We'll try to come back in summer to see the 2 seasons! Thanks again for the hospitality and arrangements.
