The Snug House: charming cottage in the Dordogne

Your hosts Harry & Cris invite you to a solace you can only find in the beautiful, serene countryside of the Périgord. The Snug House is our fully renovated, 17th century guest house, 70m2 (753 sq ft) - with a spacious front and back yard - located on our 4.5 hectare property in Eyraud-Crempse-Maurens, and entirely private in both its interior space and outdoor surroundings. The Snug House is a 10 minute drive to Bergerac and an hour from Bordeaux and its wine country.

Travel through the seasons

Located in a green setting at the edge of a wood and fields, you can stroll through the seasons both inside and outside of Belmaro. You can discover the hiking trails of the Route des Moulins via a private access... and discover what is called in Périgord Pourpre our little Tuscany by visiting Issigeac, Bergerac and Eymet. We are located 15 minutes from Bergerac airport and 1 hour 40 minutes from Bordeaux and 5 minutes from the castles of Monbazillac and Bridoire.

A separate entrance gives you complete freedom, and direct access to the towpath. ⚠️ Please note: the accommodation is not suitable for people with limited mobility (steps to access the bathroom and toilet). In the garden, the neighbor's cats are strolling around.

The Pressoir is a spacious cottage with a main room with a seating area, a kitchenette on the ground floor and by taking a steep staircase you will find a master bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a small shower room. It is adjacent to another cottage and has a private terrace separated by a privacy fence. You will have access to the property's park to enjoy the calm of our countryside and soon to the shared heated pool (10.5 m/4.5 m) on July 1.

The conference cottage is located in our beautiful charming house in Bergerac. In a warm atmosphere combining all the charms of the buildings of yesteryear as well as the most modern amenities, you can enjoy the 80 m² of this apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people. Let yourself be seduced by this antique house built in 1736 by a city trader and enjoy this ground floor apartment formerly used to store the best wines of Bergerac.
