Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We only take one reservation everyday so house is yours to use privately.We have no meal service since corona pandemic 2020. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo" You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.

Kumano Kodo/Ocean view/House in a fishing village

——5 seconds to the crystal clear sea—— Oriya is located in a small fishing town of Mie. You can be away from the tourists and enjoy an authentic Japanese town. Oriya is a private lodge that is limited to one group per day. Outside the window, beautiful and calm sea and lush mountain scenery spreads out. Not only the scenery, but also the town itself is charming. Also it’s close to world heritage of “Kumanokodo”. It is possible to come to this place by public transportation.

My property is located in Shima City, surrounded by greenery and with view on the sea. This is the perfect place if you want to unwind and be away from the busy city life. You can do yoga or enjoy the nature scenary from the balcony. With the barbecue outside, you'll definitely have a great dinner time with your friends at night. I teach surfing classes nearby. The house is like a quiet hideaway surrounded by forests on a hill by the sea. It is the perfect base for touring Shima Spain Village and other tourist attractions, swimming in the sea, surfing, golfing, and business camps. You can enjoy BBQ in the garden. There is also a stone pizza oven to bake handmade pizzas. *Please read the "House Rules" and "Additional Rules" before making a reservation, and only make reservations if you understand and agree to them.

Check-in is from 1:00 PM Check-out is by 12:00 PM Up to 8 people can stay. Spacious living room with 2 bedrooms. The entire courtyard has high walls, making it a completely private space. BBQ is also possible in the courtyard. *BBQ equipment rental (charged 5,000 yen). Please bring your own ingredients, including yakiniku sauce. You are free to use the sauna in the courtyard. It is recommended for long-term stays as it has all the necessities of life.

Nostalgic Beach House A private guesthouse in Nigishima, Kumano City, facing the calm Nigishima Bay. To reach it, climb about 50 steps (5 min) for a rewarding view. *Note: not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no TV or clock—disconnect and relax. *Extra fee applies for 2+ guests. For safety, a motion-sensor camera is at the entrance; it only takes still photos when someone passes, never continuous video, ensuring privacy.
