Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Matanzas

We enjoyed our stay in Varadero in this residence. However, even if the other one can't do anything, the current situation in Cuba makes sure that there is a lot missing in the grocery stores and we had to look for bottled water that we finally found at Calle 33.

We adored our stay at this house! Extremely spacious and perfect for a large group like ours. It had multiple patios, where we had amazing game nights and drinks with the family. EXTREMELY close to a beautiful clean beach - literally 2 minutes walk from the house. Amazing location: it’s right at the beginning of Varadero with walkable access to downtown and all restaurants/amenities. Very close access to the bridge to Santa Marta which allows to explore real Cuban life. The house is peaceful, with lots of greenery and plants - we loved the ambiance. Special thanks and gratitude to Dalia who was available to help whenever we needed it, and made us feel at home! She is the soul of the house and an amazing help with everything (navigation, recommendations, food, etc) you may need during your stay. The host, Maite, was also able to provide WiFi during our stay which was very helpful. Thank you both Dalia and Maite! We will definitely come again!

Elenita is the best in Boca in Camarioca. We went back to her place for the end of our trip and everything was perfect! With Elenita, you won't miss anything. She cares that her guests are satisfied and comfortable. She took great care of us and even guided us in our choices in order to have the most beautiful trip possible. Our stay was really good at her place. The accommodation is impeccably clean and very intimate and safe. Its meals are really delicious and you have all the amenities of the village nearby. This place is 100 times better than Varadero. And if you want to go to Varadero, Elenita will arrange transportation for you at great prices. She takes care of everything as if we were family. When we return to Boca de Camarioca, we will go to her home and nowhere else. Thank you for your generosity, your dedication, and your great heart, Elenita. We love you. Sylvia and Érick.

We had a great few days at Maria Eugenia and Antonio's place. They are wonderful attentive hosts and so kind. They shared food with us and were amazing with the children. We had lovely conversations in Spanish and met the wider family. The house is modest but spacious and functional with all the basics that you need and is as described. It is so close to the beach which is why we were there! There is a little ice cream stand on the next corner so the kids were very happy. There were limited supplies in Varadero shops so do bring food and snacks along if you are planning on self catering...this did however not affect the lovely stay we had at their casa. Muchisimas gracias!

The service was exceptional, it was top notch, it has everything you need, very good attention from the owners, highly recommended. One of the best hosts touched on me. Everything was very clean and getting out of trouble at all times. I would definitely come back many more times with them. Thank you ☺️

Beautiful rental house on the water close to varadero

Ludis, his daughter, Julio and Pablo treated us as luxury. They were very nice and we didn't need anything. The place is very nice but there is no wifi and you need to get a cuba sim card to be able to access the internet and calls. You are relatively close to the main avenue where you can do several activities and you feel safe when walking through the streets even if it is at night and there is no light. The photo of the sign in bendito paraiso has a number that does not work, it is necessary that they leave the number of someone in case they need instructions on how to get to the accommodation. Other than that, it's a great choice to get to Varadero and I highly recommend it

I will definitely be coming back! Oriel and Yanet were fantastic hosts, they were friendly and accommodating, I was very happy with my stay. I don't usually leave reviews, but because of how Oriel and Yanet treated me I felt compelled to let you all know this is a great place to stay for trips to Varadero and they are amazing hosts!

The place is spectacular. It has restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. You'll be prepared for the power outages that occur throughout Varadero and Santa Marta, as it has available outlets and rechargeable fans. The pool is very nice. Without a doubt, what stood out most about the place is the kindness of its co-host, always ready to solve our concerns and do everything possible to have a pleasant stay. Regarding the beach, it is a 15-20 minute walk, or you can take a transport that costs around 100 or 200 Cuban pesos that takes you to the beach in 5 minutes.

My family and I stayed at Hamed’s AirBNB and we felt like HOME , They are AMAZING!!!! Everything was clean , organize , they helped us at any time! I really recommend this house! So private , well equiped , I really love it!! I would stay again as soon as I can!

Maria’s place is a bit out of town so we took a taxi there and back. We were a little apprehensive about the neighbourhood but, that said, the people we encountered were friendly. Lovely views from the room.

I always pick my Airbnb by the reviews and Udelmis reviews were great and well deserved. Udelmis, her family, and staff were fabulous, they all spoke great English and were sooo friendly. When I return to Cárdenas I will definitely stay there.

Great little place but don’t expect to be able to get any form of internet in this little location unless you roam. The place was great otherwise

The room was comfortable but the host didn't speak any English even though it says so in Airbnb. Additionally, the WiFi didn't work due to public maintenance (not the host's fault).

The place is spotless, incredibly beautiful and very cozy. The kitchen has everything you need and more, with a spacious room and a glass window facing the sea. There are also liquids and sweets to consume. There are two rooms, ours had a very comfortable king size bed, split air and an interior bathroom. The patio and terrace make being outside very pleasant because it has a hammock and very comfortable chairs. We were attended by Edilena, Ricardo's co-host, who is in Miami. Edilena is a very kind, helpful and friendly lady who was attentive to everything and with the best attitude. The house also has a generator in case of power outages. In short, 100% recommended. I had a most amazing eight full days at Melissa’s place. It is clean, big enough for two people and very close to a beautiful beach. Location is very good, best to buy Hop on Hop off bus to go around all day in Varadero for 5 USD. Center of Varadero is about 10 min by bus or 40 min walk. There are many restaurants of various ranges of prices. Electricity in Varadero was steady, as was water, but there are shortages of bread and food if you plan to cook. If you are easy and can go on one or two meals a day, there is always tortilla with eggs, coffee and water in bottles. Best to pay is in USD, or Euro. Canadian dollar is ok but not as much. Melissa was away but kept in touch and her father was super helpful and speaks great English. Kitchen is small and not equipped with cook staples so keep that in mind. Yard is small but adorable and shared with wonderful people who rent next door. They helped me a lot. For Cuban standards this place is lovely. If you love Cuba , 🇨🇺 go there! 🇨🇺💜

Ernesto is perfectly friendly. He helped me lift my suitcase up. The apartment was clean and tidy. The neighborhood was quiet and close to downtown. The beach is 20 min walk, but you can also get a taxi very easily. I would definitely recommend it!
