Really spectacular site. This accommodation is located in the basement. A large window in the kitchen provides light but not a view of the river. You can, however, go out into the yard and have direct access to a long walk along the waterfront. Close to many activities (garden, museum, hiking, skiing). Very well maintained apartment with everything you need to prepare your meals: utensils, condiments-spices, etc. Melanie is very friendly and available if needed. We experienced the high heat (37°C with humidex) of early August 2024 and an air conditioner would have been needed to cool the premises. Fortunately, there was a fan, which we ran continuously.

My co-worker and I stayed at Sophie's property while on a work trip in the area. We felt at home right away and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sophie was a great host, extremely friendly, always quick to respond, and gave some great recommendations for local seafood. We particularly enjoyed the large TV, great for watching the playoffs ! Will definitely look to stay here again if ever in the area in the future.

Fantastic experience overall. Gorgeous location with views of the ocean, easy access to the mountains, and close to the grocery store / town. Clean and comfortable space. Laundry in-unit was a huge perk. Perfect for a group trip! FYI - kitchen supplies are perfectly fine but not great. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking (we visited during early April and not much was open in town for food), you might consider bringing some of your own supplies.

Overall, we had a great stay at this rustic house with a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River, and the location was perfect for our group of 8. The house was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the area most of the time. Unfortunately, one week night, the hostel located was 2 doors down had a very loud party that went on past 3 a.m., which did make it hard to sleep. Additionally, communication with the host was minimal - we were lucky to have left a day early, as we found out the key drop-off location was going to be closed on the day we were supposed to check out. Despite these two minor details, the property itself was lovely, and we had an enjoyable stay.
