Monthly Rentals in Matagorda Island

Loved our stay here! It was so cozy and beautiful view every morning. The hosts were so friendly providing recommendations and helpful tips. T’s kitchen is a couple minutes away and the best Pho I’ve had in Texas. Would for sure stay here again!

This was our fourth time staying at the cottage and we’ll be back! We love it! It’s peaceful, the hosts are great, it’s definitely become our home away from home. If you need a little getaway to nature, calm, and serenity…this is it! We find it here every year…even with the kiddos in tow. John and Jo are extremely responsive, communicative, and friendly. You won’t regret your stay.

Let’s just put it this way; I was SO BLESSED to afford her place given what and where it was, had I not even interacted with her it woulda blown my socks off. Julie being Julie made it all the better, and what was just a quick cheap trip to grieve tirned into healing, possibility and a new friend made. This was my first vacation ever, I suffer from chronic pain apart from my grief I was dealing with, and Julie’s place was everything I wanted & needed, triple time!! THANK YOU JULIE - they say angel walk among us and you definitely deliver a slice of heaven. Brightest of blessings to Julie and all who stay here!

Leah our parents and brothers live down the road on a ranch in Long Mott, my mother passed away so we had lots of family coming in. I rented the place for myself, husband and son and his fiance. It is absolutely adorable, first class. Everything was spotless, beds and linen comfy, I loved everything about it:) I am so happy we found it. The kids went out and fished on the pier. The bathrooms are so nice. I will be back Leah
