Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mason County

My family and I selected Ellie’s house for fall break. We were seeking a destination that would help us recharge, relax and recoup. The setting of this home is so beautiful and relaxing. The back patio is perched above the picturesque Lake Hamlin. The house is equipped with many windows to help you enjoy the view from inside as well. We found just what we were looking for. I must give Ellie the highest compliment possible for her care, responsiveness, and friendliness. We had all needs met and she communicated very well before and during our stay. We would like to come back again someday! My family gives this home a 5/5.

Enjoyed our stay. In town for daughter’s wedding reception at Lincoln Hills. House worked great. Easy to get in. Nice fence in yard for our dog. Walked bike trails close by. Loved the easy check out. Forgot a toothbrush and they had one for me. I would stay again

House was great. In a very quiet, private place. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Everything was labeled, easy to find and use, and comfortable. It had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, etc. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly.

Enjoyed a quick jaunt to Ludington for a single night stay… very direct, walkable site about 5-6 blocks from the SS Badger car ferry port. Clean and comfortable open concept spaces make it easy to enjoy conversation throughout home. Although site is away from any waterfront, view of boats in adjacent JC Marine still helped convey proximity to Lake Michigan. Would certainly book again for longer stay!

This was a perfect house for a weekend stay. The first floor bedroom was perfect for someone unable to do stairs, and the upstairs rooms were perfect for the rest of us. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with all tools we needed for cooking

My wife and I had a great stay. The cabin is very comfortable, was very clean and well supplied with everything a guest might need. The setting is private and secluded but very close to town. It is a great location for getting just about anywhere in the area. Allowing dogs is a big deal too as we like traveling with our pup.

We love this house! Lots of room to spread out, nice decor, furniture and beds. Kitchen os well supplied. Lots of parking space which is a huge plus as we had a family dinner there. Would definitely book again,

Katrina’s place was wonderful and as described! We had a great time staying on the lake and visiting all that Lake Michigan has to offer. We’d love to return again!

We booked Jordan’s place as a last minute getaway for Memorial Day weekend and It turned out to be the perfect place for us. We were able to rent the boat slip in addition which was super convenient. The location was great, my 18 month and I walked to the park and downtown Ludington everyday. The apartment was clean and cozy, had all the amenities we needed. There was even a fire pit and a sandy area for us to enjoy. Highly recommend Jordan’s place if you’re traveling to Ludington.

What can I say. The whole experience was great. The location is awesome. The place was spotless and had everything you needed to feel right at home. The owners are awesome and extremely easy to work with. I 100% will be staying again.

We had such a fantastic weekend here! The apartment was incredibly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up—everything felt so easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect: close to the beach and downtown, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were ridiculously cozy—we all slept like babies. Our whole family was so happy with the stay. Great value, great vibes, and just an all-around excellent experience. Highly recommend!

We were originally supposed to been here two weeks before. My wife became ill three days before we were to leave and Melissa worked with us to find alternative dates. A fantastic host and very friendly. The space has everything you need and more. The town and the coast, extremely charming. Fall of the year, beautiful! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay along the coast of Michigan. You can see the water from the window and walk two streets to the beach, simply cannot say enough about the house and the area where we are staying.

Troy's place was amazing! It was very comfortable, stayed cool at night, very roomy, plenty of tvs, had an amazing fireplace, it's secluded, it was everything we were looking for! Troy was super awesome and answered any questions we had, and gave us fishing advice!

The house was great. Perfect for a long weekend with my siblings. The property was beautiful and the fall colors were amazing. We will be coming back!

Shame it was only for a couple days, this place is beautiful and was a great escape. I donated a few flies to the flora of the river and the fish got the best of me, but would definitely book again.

It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

We spent a week here for a family vacation and loved it! The location was right between Pentwater and Ludington with lots to do in both places. It was peaceful and tastefully decorated. I had a question about the shower and the host(s) were quick to respond! Loved this for what we needed.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.

Gabriel and his rental exceeded our expectations and provided for a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing getaway. Gabriel accommodated us on extremely short notice after we had an issue with another rental. Even on short notice, the rental was spotless and had everything we needed for a great trip. We so appreciated his welcoming hospitality! Both the humans and dogs loved swimming in the river on the property, having bonfires outside, and both the front and back porches were great for lounging. We loved having nearby access to so many adventures (kayaking, Manistee, beaches, etc), while also appreciating the privacy, nature, and space at the Airbnb itself. During our stay the days were sunny in the low 80s, and without air conditioning, we found it to be extremely comfortable sleeping with all the air flow from all the windows. We were able to keep the house cool and comfortable. I would love to stay here again! We wish we had more time there and hope to be back! Great rental & host!

The house was exactly as described. Very nice and clean. The surrounding area was beautiful. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful.
