In 10 steps, you are on the sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and (kite)surfing. Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Cozy restaurant 100 m away. We arrange breakfast on the 1st day!

We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The (20 square m.) little house is simple, but under the care of a big Douglas Pine tree and with enough basic elements in kitchen, house and own private garden you can feel relaxed safe and happy! 26 km from Amsterdam 24 km Utrecht 5,6 km Hilversum 200m from nature!

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Our floating chalet has a lot of glassware so that you retain the unobstructed view. You are close to Amsterdam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Enough activity in the area, so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet or seek out the hustle and bustle. There is a terrace and a floating balcony. Please read the advertisement carefully before booking. I would love to make you welcome in our wonderful home in Hoogedijk. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is NO kitchen.

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

Welcome to Bed & Breakfast "De Fruitige Tuin" of Paul and Corry Hienkens. The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Behind our house (former farmhouse from 1834) is the B&B: a detached chalet (a high light space) located on the edge of the spacious garden. Het staat op een kleinschalig recreatiepark, waar wij ook een ander huisje hebben onder de naam Familie Buitenhuys. Je slaapt in een volledig huisje met vloerverwarming en alle comfort. In de master bedroom staat een bad bij het raam, met uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit het bad zie je Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.
