Mt Airy Cabin, Dunlap Tennessee

ElaineRating, 5 stars19 months ago
Debra's little cabin worked out well for us on a long road trip. While the cabin is quite rustic/basic, Debra goes above and beyond to provide essentials and extras. Everything you need for a quick overnight is there! The bed is very comfortable, the rooms were nice and warm, the shower was hot; and we were able to cook a simple meal. Wifi signal was strong, and local TV listings were available. Overall, it's a great deal for the cost! We will return when back in the area. Thank you, Debra, for being such a great host!

Sunrise Mountain Tree House Cabin

RobynRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location was so peaceful and with an absolutely stunning view. The host was very responsive and there was a great deal of detailed information shared in a notebook in the cabin. The best thing is that the hosts are on site and check the property as soon as you leave so if you have left anything (which we did) they contact you quickly so you can return before you’ve gone far. And, we met the hosts at this point and they were very pleasant.
A rustic king-size bed is dressed in a white quilt, accented with pillows featuring earthy tones. Soft bedside lighting complements the wooden walls, creating a cozy ambience. A wooden bench sits at the foot of the bed, adorned with a textured throw.

Log Cabin Apt Lookout Mountain Fireplace King Bed

Honestly, I wish we got to stay longer than we did. It's a really pretty cabin with lots of wildlife around. There is a sweet cat that will come right up to your door, and break your heart when you leave. The only asterisk I have about the place is the height of things. My wife and I are both above 6 feet tall, and we hit our heads on multiple doorways. That's on us; we're first to know when it rains. That being said... If you're tall -- be prepared to duck.

Oslo Tiny House (Live A Little Chatt)

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great little place shared on a bluffside of 4 tiny homes. The view was amazing. Thoughtful touches in the Oslo tiny house, what with the bottle of wine, smores, and the Victrola especially. We slept on the living room fold-out so to take advantage of that beautiful view & made a little breakfast to enjoy on the private deck. I personally think this was the cutest of the bunch. Super enjoyable. Cloudland Canyon park is 10 minutes away by car, and if you need to go to town for supplies that's only a couple minutes further. We picked a less-busy time to stay and had the property to ourselves, and were able to enjoy the hot-tub and watch the sunset and the stars rise. There is a hang-gliding place just down the road, so that was fun to watch. They have some logs available for the firepit you can pay for, just fyi. These guys made check-in and check-out a total breeze. Perhaps the easiest of any AirBnB I've had the pleasure of staying in! Will recommend to friends!

Cozy retreat w/ lake access

PamelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay here! It's a beautiful community with walkable areas and a nice lake. The tiny home was really well maintained and had really cozy outdoor areas. This would be great for a small family or a small group of friends. Excellent use of the space with several sleeping arrangements- beds were comfy! Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and efficient. The hosts were super responsive- I pestered them a ton! I'm familiar with this area of the state. Outside of hiking and enjoying solitude, there isn't much here (especially in terms of lodging). However, this is a great getaway and a great location in between Chattanooga and Nashville. I would highly recommend!

Serenity on Waters Edge/Lakefront Tiny Home/Kayaks

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I grew up visiting my Grandmother in Tracy City, so coming back and bringing my kids and wife was really special. I always try to eat at Papa Rons in MontEagle, and Dutchmaid Bakery (breakfast) and Dairy Delight (lunch) in Tracy. Foster Falls is an easy and rewarding hike for kids. I liked the home was on a small lake where my daughters were able to catch some bluegill and a small bass. You can get worms in town. The architecture at Sewanee College is phenomenal and worth a short drive to see. There are playgrounds all over MontEagle and Tracy if you have little kids. There is also a playground near this cabin our daughters (4 and 7) enjoyed.

Nature lovers dream retreat/the Square Root

TristaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Loved this house. Called a "tiny home" but didn't feel tiny at all. We spent so much time hiking the area didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the neighborhood but would love to come back and check it all out. Got dinner in town at Hanks which was good. No spots open for breakfast Sunday but found somewhere 20 minutes away. Ready to go back!

Bluegrass Highway ~8 Miles to Downtown Chattanooga

MaggieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Absolutely loved our stay at bluegrass highway! The cabin was very cozy, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located. The hosts were super responsive and welcoming. The pictures don’t do it justice. There were many recommendations in the magazines around the house which were super helpful. The outside patios were very nice and had the most amazing view. It was very nice to sit in the living room and enjoy the view through the huge circle window. They had many different board games to play and even a record player with some great hits. Overall we had an amazing stay thanks to Susanna!
