Casainha, a small house, is in the historic center (within the walls of medieval time) close to the bakery, laundry, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops. It is renovated, but of old construction. The entrance door is low, careful not to hit your head, and it has two steps. The bar, two doors down, is very popular and usually opens from March to October 31, until 2 a.m. There is noise and a lot of lively nightlife on the street and adjacent streets. - there is NO SMOKING inside of the house. I bought the cottage as a ruin in 2016 and have lovingly refurbished it using local craftsmen and materials. I hope you enjoy the transformation as much as I do!
