Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Marin County

A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Overall, very nice! My only real issue was the inflexability on the check out end of things. We had to leave a day earlier than planned, through no fault of our own. I tried for a late check out a day earlier (only 3 hours), to save some money of course. The response was, well you are booked until the 20th, so you can stay as long as you want on the 19th. I just felt that there could have been a little compromise, as people sometimes have to change plans due to circumstances beyond their control. Maybe a charge for staying later could have been offered, but I ended up paying for the entire last night without actually staying there. I have had similar situations over the years with other hosts, and they have been more than happy to compromise.

Amy was one of the best Airbnb hosts I have ever had! She was so communicative, so accommodating, and had great recommendations for the area. Her home was exactly as described and so beautiful! If you have the opportunity to stay at her home, I would recommend renting the bottom unit as well for added space for your group (2 additional queen beds and an additional full bathroom).

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

The house was absolutely beautiful and spotless — it’s clear that it has been exceptionally well cared for, with great attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided. The host was warm, kind, and very responsive to all our questions. This was truly a memorable trip, and we would love to come back again in the future. If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. Highly recommended!

The Sea-renity House is one of the nicest homes I’ve had the chance to stay in. The views are incredible, and it’s a perfect spot for kids with plenty of space to enjoy. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, couldn’t have been easier. Overall, a fantastic experience!

4 of us stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time . The outdoor spaces were so nice for relaxation and the couches and beds were so comfy. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown Mill Valley and Sausalito. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating.

Lovely place, terrific location, good hills for walks, great trails nearby for cycling, several food shopping options close by! Gary’s a friendly and generous host.

Jill's house was very clean, beautifully decorated and the couch for sleeping was so spacious and comfortable (I slept really well like fainted haha). The host, Jill is so thoughtful and friendly. Also, her cute dog, Margo, is so cute, nice and gentle. Jill takes great care of me in every way to help me out. Thanks to her thoughtful help, I was able to visit some nice local restaurants with Jill and go on a safe tracking trip. Also, the breakfast she made for me was so much better than what I had any brunch restaurant.😋 I felt like I was at a friend's house! The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Jill's house was so reasonable compared to the high prices of stay in San Francisco. the experience here also became a very precious memory for me. If I had a time I would have stayed there more longer. If you are planning a stay in Sosalito, please don't hesitate to stay here! Thank you Jill! I will improve my English so that we can talk more together next time I come back ;)

Faustin is an excellent host providing a truly unique Redwoods experience. Immaculate vibrations. My girlfriend and I hiked from The Treehouse to Muir Woods and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Highly recommend to anyone who wants an authentic, rustic, pure-hearted experience loaded with character and love. There is magic in the air here. Inhale the crisp air and take care of the gift around you.

This place is an incredible RARE find! It's right on the beach of the Bay and offers incredible sunrises, seal sightings, water access, a great deck for meals, lounging, yoga, and she even has a propane fire place on the deck. We spent most of our time on the deck staring at the water, swimming, and paddle boarding! The indoor space was so comfortable and had everything we needed and was spacious enough for two of us to co-work privately and you could see the water from the living room and both beds. There was a great restaurant across the street and about a mile walk away along the waterfront was downtown Sausalito which was so fun to explore. It was also just a 15 min drive to San Francisco and we rode bikes from Lisa's place up the hill and over the Golden Gate Bridge. We also went to Rodeo Beach for a couple sunsets which was only a ten minute drive away. This place is such a sweet water getaway while being in the middle of the busy Bay Area. We will be back! This is the perfect sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle, nestled against a beautiful backdrop of nature and greenery, and close enough to drive into town or take a walk to a local cafe or bakery. We were 10 minute drive to many wineries and to Sonoma Plaza so it was very convenient. Allen was responsive and made our stay easy and pleasant.

The cabins were just what I was looking for to have a quiet low tech weekend. It was a perfectly peaceful little getaway tucked back on the property by the creek. The beach was so close, you could fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing and a super short walk to make sure you can catch sunrise/sunset. Charles was very welcoming, communicative, & extremely hospitable as he kindly extended some extra amenities to accommodate my last minute reservation. I’ll surely be back!

Amazing little spot for our family of four!

Jeanne’s place was incredibly beautiful and she was the most responsive host we’ve ever had. She helped coordinate special spots for our weekend trip and went above and beyond making it special. Her place felt so authentic to Sonoma and was the perfect place to stay for your trip!

Charles went out of his way to accommodate us- making sure the hot tub was warm, and that we had enough blankets to stay warm. It was wonderful to be able to come back to a hot tub, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, after long hikes in Muir + Point Reyes. Cant recommend enough, and would definitely come back!

What an amazing spot! I would wake up every day in that bedroom if I could just based on the amount of sunlight coming through the windows :) perfect for two people, and we loved the hikes into Point Reyes right from the house.

Charles is a lovely, responsive host. He was upfront and honest about the glamping situation and there were no surprises. The wild garden, outdoor shower, and private hot tub were what we enjoyed most. We'll definitely be back!

5 stars for the location, nestled in the redwoods just 5 min walk from Mill Valley Downtown and Old Mill Park! Comfortable beds and sofas and great spaces for working, this worked really well for our staycation. The house is an 1880s cabin so it has some charming quirks! Seth is a responsive host and you can tell that he has put his heart and soul into every detail of the space — looks exactly like the photos!

Wonderful place to create great memories! Really great location and view. Great light. The place is very spacious - upstairs is a large loft with a full bathroom which was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Appreciated the different seating areas inside and outside. Like others mentioned, it's got that 'someone lives here' vibe but that didn't bother us at all, in fact, it added to the character. No need to bring anything -- kitchen fully stocked, books, legos & games for the kids, etc. Perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy nature.
