Perfect for city and field holidays. 15 minutes drive to civilization or 20 minute train ride to Oslo S from Snippen station 200 meters away. For Varingskollen Alpinsenter it is 20 minutes by train the other way. Nordmarka's hiking trails and bike paths start at your doorstep. The host is living close by and is available. The house has a 20 sqm base, but is efficiently utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

Stay in the countryside in beautiful Maridalen but still within Oslo. The cabin “Drengestua” of 43 sqm. is located in the yard between the stable and the host's house on a horse farm. Here it can be relaxed in rural surroundings, experience trips with everything Nordmarka can offer, but still live close to urban life in Oslo. CAR: Only 12 min to Nydalen with shops, restaurants and public transport to Oslo city centre. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Bus stop 5 min. to walk from the cabin. It takes 18 minutes by bus to Brekke and 25 minutes to Nydalen.

Sit back and relax in this quiet, elegant place. When you enter the door, you'll be in the living room. With private balcony and fireplace. A sofa and queen bed. Take the stairs down to get to the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen counter is quite small, but it has an induction top and oven. The apartment is suitable for one to two people who want to be close to hiking terrain and ski slopes. Nice starting point for nature walks. At the same time only 30 minutes from Oslo city center with museums and restaurants.

Bente is a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet her but we stayed in touch throughout my stay and she responded very promptly every time I reached out. She made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The place is stunning and very thoughtfully furnished. The room is cosy and the bed is very comfortable. The street can be slightly noisy over the weekend but it's not a big deal. I particularly loved the location and how easy it was to get around on foot or by tram/bus. I would highly recommend it to solo travellers if you're looking for a place to stay in Oslo. Thank you Bente, for a great stay :)

I enjoyed my stay at Nina's place very much. It's a very quiet and peaceful room with everything I needed, perfect to rest after long days exploring the city. It's very close to nice cafés and very well connected to main attractions. I took the bus and tram to go everywhere. The hosts always responded promptly and took care of everything. I highly recommend this place to people who want a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Cris and Sonam are super friendly and hospitable. And their dog Sheru is absolutely adorable. The flat and the room were clean and tidy. It’s only a few minutes walk to the metro station. You can reach the city centre easily in about 30 minutes by metro. I had a great time staying there. Definitely recommended!
