Welcome to "The Wild Chicken Holiday Suite" We are situated 1 km from the National Park and 5 minutes to downtown Cheticamp. The suite has a dream coffee bar with excellent coffee and tea choices as well as other hot beverages too. You will also be delighted with fresh that morning seasonal muffins that I make and forage the fruit for! You also have your own private deck and entrance with a table and umbrella! As a guest you have full access to the fire pit with wood included! NO MICROWAVE.

Wild Rose Cottage

This cottage is centrally located between Baddeck, Inverness and Cheticamp. It is approximately 30 min each way. It features a lovely, large back yard with firepit area and mountain views. The Portree bridge is a short walk down the road, which is a popular swimming spot. The river runs along the opposite side of the road. There are lots of local beaches, hiking trails and golf courses in the area. The property also has direct access to the highland snowmobile/atv trails.

Our little slice of heaven is situated right on the Cabot Trail in TARBOT, NS. Surrounded by crown land so it is very private. The property has its own little waterfall for guests to enjoy. The cabin is one of 4 on the property. Sit out and watch the stars, listen to the birds as the morning sun rises, roast some marshmallows, play board games, read a book, do some yoga, or simply do nothing at all. Our studio guesthouse is located minutes from Chimney Corner Beach and the world famous Cabot Trail. We are located just 20 minutes from the town of Inverness, where you can enjoy a round of golf at our world class golf courses as well as enjoy many great restaurants and beaches. The studio guesthouse is quaint and comfortable and comes with everything you may need for a relaxing getaway including an oceanfront sauna. We look forward to having you stay:)

The Worn Doorstep - Queen Suite

Save $$ on longer stays! Air-conditioned suite with private entrance on the lower level of a family home. Including, a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea facilities, and toaster. There is a shared barbeque for guest use. Check-in instructions will be sent via the Airbnb app. Please read carefully prior to your arrival. **We live on main floor so foot traffic and our dogs may be heard. Only 1 parking spot per room.**

Swallow Bank Cottage #5, two bedroom on the River

Two bedroom cottage located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 5 has a queen bed, two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living area. The covered front porch is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring beautiful Cape Breton Island. Guests can check-in after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Bothan Beag - Tiny House on the Water

Our 25’ x 8.5’ tiny house is situated on a beautiful secluded piece of ocean front property in Port Hood with a secluded beach and spacious deck. There is a loft with a queen sized bed and a sofa in the main area that turns into a double bed. There is a 3 piece bathroom in the back underneath the loft as well as a second small private room with enough space to set up a pack n' play.

The Garden Shed

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
