Easy access, welcoming and great house! Loved the pool and the green area. We made great memories in the house!

We had a wonderful stay at Malema's place. It is quiet and peaceful, you only hear the sound of the waves, and with a beautiful view of Maputo city. We went with our two dogs, and the fact that the compound was fenced and big enough for them to run freely was definitely a plus. As you open the backgate you are immediately on the beach, perfect for walks. The house is charming and well-equipped. And the assistance from both Malema and Nkossi on site was just perfect.

It’s a really great place to stay but you would need a 4 wheel drive to comfortably get around

Helga is very helpful friendly and called the taxi driver to explain directions in how to get there. This is the second time we stayed there. It’s very well set up and she even helped provide breakfast supplies so we could go straight to sleep after a long day of travel.

Albino is a very good host, he is responsive and pays attention to any issues that require his attention. He’s also very friendly and the swimming pool was very helpful and enjoyable right on the door step.

We are still enjoying our stay in Sara`s house, have extended our stay. Everything you need is there, it`s cosy and homely, in a central location, within walking distance of many places in Sommershield 1 (and many development organizations). We feel at home and it is the perfect place to land in Maputo with family or friends. Thank you, Sara!

I spent a month-long stay with my family at Jorge RB&B, and it was an excellent experience! The property is in a nice and secure neighborhood, with a 24-hour security guard who was always friendly and helpful. The apartment is fully renovated, spotless, and very well-located, with restaurants, a supermarket, and essential services just a short walk away. The apartment is on the third floor, and while there’s no elevator, climbing the stairs was a great opportunity to get some exercise! Jorge was an amazing host—responsive, attentive, and always ready to share helpful tips and recommendations, which made our stay even smoother. The three-day cleaning service was a great touch, ensuring everything remained fresh and tidy throughout our stay. We absolutely loved it—the apartment felt just like home, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

This is the most amazing apartment ! I have been coming to Maputo since I was a little boy and this time was the ultimate because of this great aprtment . the finishes are amazing , the host is always available to help , the bedding could be better but its not that bad ( I feel maybe a a softer smarter duvet would ust take it to a new level) And the view ...hmmmmm views for days , this place is just spectecular .

For 3 weeks we made this place our home! The colonial style house has three spacious and one smaller bedrooms. It was perfect for a group of five but could easily house 2 more people. It has a big and comfortable living room and a big terrace, albeit a little noisy at times (no problem for those who enjoy African street life, as we did). Here, we loved to take our meals or just linger. Additionally, there’s a large balcony upstairs. The location is in a central residential area, just a few blocks from Av. 24 de Julho, the heart of Maputo‘s main shopping district, and Praça da Independencia. Our host, Sara, has been very kind and responsive to our requests and always provided immediate service where needed. Last but by no means least to mention is the very kind and helpful house service - the guards and the housekeepers - who did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome, not just as paying guests but REAL house guests. Obrigado a todos, for really making us feel like home!

We spent three weeks at Sara's house and we really liked our stay. Sara as been an amazing host, always available and flexible. For exemple, we arrived very early in the morning and she arranged an early check-in. The housekeepers and guards were also very helpful. The house is strategically located, very close to the Feima Park and the oceanfront. There is plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés at a walking distance. The house was confortable, with a good AC, washing machine, Wifi and TV. Thank you Sara !

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment is big so plenty of space and storage. The washing machine was super helpful and made our life’s easier. Also plenty of supplies including detergent, soaps, trash bags, hand soap etc.. Sara is responsive and checked in with us and if we had a hiccup she came and solved it in a timely manner. When we arrived we had some snacks, water and apples .. much appreciated the kind gesture ! Overall we had a relaxing stay in a Maputo and I highly recommend her place for a long/ short stay.

We all had a great time at Jorge’s apartment. The space was perfect for our needs and in a great location. There was a bit of construction in the building next door which was a small inconvenience and unavoidable. The hammering and drilling became white noise after a short while. Without reservation I would recommend this property.
