Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Manitoulin District

The Worthington House is a lovely place to stay. It perfectly met the needs of our large, extended family; all of us in Little Current for a family wedding on the May holiday weekend. The house and property are extremely clean, well supplied, centrally located and the hosts did an amazing job at meeting the needs of our family group. Hopefully we will be back someday! This is an amazing place if you want to take a break from everything and enjoy some beautiful, peaceful days. Mark and Victoria are fantastic hosts—thoughtful, welcoming, and well-organized. They even left some toys in the house, which made our son incredibly happy while playing. Although we were unlucky with the weather and couldn’t enjoy activities like canoeing or kayaking due to the wind, we still had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and cozy, and to be honest, it looks even better in person than in the pictures! Thank you, Victoria and Mark, for being such incredible hosts. We truly appreciated everything!

We can echo all of the positive comments of previous guests- we travelled with another couple and Irene’s home was perfect! There was not one thing that we could think of that was not conveniently available - even down to having a pizza cutter! Quiet, despite being on the highway. Good location- less than 20 min from the ferry and the same to Mindemoya. We’d definitely recommend Irene’s home for a comfortable stay!

Christopher’s place is absolutely beautiful. Overlooking Mindemoya Lake, it’s nestled among tall trees and a serene landscape. The entire family are great hosts—very warm and helpful. Aside from the regular hosting essentials, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Greg was especially kind in teaching us how to start a fire for the fire pit, even providing some of their own firewood and fire-starting equipment. They also shared some excellent local recommendations and Sandra gifted our group a lovely children’s book written by Christopher’s wife, which was a thoughtful touch for the kids. One of the unexpected highlights was how incredible the place was at night—perfect for stargazing and astral photography. With minimal light pollution and a clear view of the sky, captured some unforgettable night shots and spent hours just watching the stars. I highly recommend their place as the first one to check if you’re planning a trip to Manitoulin Island.

Great few days at Marilee's place. Ideal location, easy to explore Little Current area and wider Manitoulin Island. Everything was as described and matched the photos. Plenty of space and garden was nice to sit out and relax...and talk to the chickens! Marilee was very easy to communicate with and was always responsive.

I booked Diane's Airbnb for a crew of my workers. It is a beautiful place, with a lot of space for multiple people, many different accommodations, and overall a clean, neat, and organized space. This was located near our work site which was ideal, but Diane made the experience so much better. She is very kind, responsive, and willing to help which was a huge benefit since I wasn't physically there with my crew. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay with Diane and communicate with her about any questions, comments, or concerns you may have because she is beyond willing to help you and make you feel more comfortable. I rate this experience 11/10!!

Serenity on the lake was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone. Hillary was very quick to respond and the home and property was clean and stunning! You have all you will need there. We made some beautiful memories with our family and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to rent this place for the weekend!

Our stay was beautiful, peaceful and restful. We arrived later than expected and Cheryl was gracefully awaiting us the moment we drove in. The cabin was perfectly described, yet there was even more charm and beauty in person. We slept soundly after our amazing sauna sessions each day. The sauna was in excellent condition and prepared for fair use, nothing missing and nice and hot! The area is very calm and quiet and night skies are filled with stars! Our young baby was very comfortable with the accommodations and we felt very safe and well looked after. The place was very clean and cozy with more space than it initially seemed. We will certainly look into visiting again in the future if we return to the area. Thanks a lot Cheryl!

We had an amazing stay here. I had a late check in but Barbara was very communicative and flexible and gave very easy and clear instructions on how to get there and how to find our cabin. The chain itself was very clean, organized and everything was working perfectly. Would definitely come back again.

We just got home from a wonderful week stay at Courtney’s place on MacGregor Bay. We can’t say enough great things about this place. Having a whole island to ourselves with a trail to hike, paddle boards to use, and all the amenities of home was exactly what we needed! The off grid living with a warm outdoor shower was a highlight…and the constant breeze off the bay will be missed! Our family of four all slept very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised to find a blender and a salad spinner! 😉 We feel very lucky to have found this gem and hope to return again soon. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Lovely cabin in a peaceful location! Very clean and comfortable for our group of 4, and had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Loved the stay. Stunning location. Coffee pot, kettle, air fryer were out to use. Jessica’s place had everything needed and plenty of room for large groups or families. So much room and cozy. Use of kayaks and comfy covered porch were my favorite part of our stay.

We had never been to this area of Ontario before and always wanted to. Finding this location on the Bay met our requirements for cozy, rugged beautiful surroundings and some fishing. This location is a must visit if you are wanting a peaceful time away. Word of caution, if you are trying to get here on your own an electronic navigation device with charts is a must. I used my phone and the navionics app and we also had a good device on the boat so it was a breeze for us getting in and finding the island even with some misty rain on the way in. Sitting on the west side of the island looking down into west bay at the sunset with a drink was a highlight. Also catching a 20 pound pike was another highlight. Really appreciate this place meeting expectations. Plan on returning next fall for a similar adventure.
