The location was serene with the 360° view, peaceful and beautiful and it offered so much of what we call a weekend getaway. Away from chaos, and a property made of glass from where you can sit at your window and look outside doing nothing. The owner/ care taker regularly followed up and was cooperative with all the requests made by us. He took care of every little things and also, provided an amazing breakfast cooked by a beautiful aunty. Overall it was a pleasant stay, exactly what we were looking for. We had a nice and comfortable stay at the property, as it is situated almost at the hilltop with fruit farms all around, providing peace and solitude. The views of The Himalayas are mesmerizing along with the experience of watching the 'Golden Hour' while listening to the chirping of the birds. All our needs were well taken care of by the staff, having polite and helpful nature. Last but not the least, our host Shalini, made sure our stay was comfortable, and provided information about the nearby places to visit. Regards

Spectacular is the word that comes to my mind right away! Breath taking views and such serene property. Didn’t imagine such great hospitality and delicious food at that height! Mr. Jagdish Joshi is one of the most humble caretakers I have come across in my entire life. I’m an avid traveller and this is the first time I’m genuinely taking the pain to write a review. Just didn’t feel like returning home from my room “NAGASAKI”. Honestly lives up to the description. All the minimalistic things are taken care of very delightfully. A stay that would stay in my mind for a very very long time! Already missing the place honestly!!!

Mukesh ji & Sarita ji were perfect hosts. Our family spent and hour with Sarita Ji chit chatting in the evening learning about life in the hills! Sarita ji also helped us arrange some locally grown organic products too. Place is serene and quiet, and exactly like in the pictures. We were a family of 6 plus 3 little toddlers! The price was very economical for us. The place and hosts have a very relaxed vibe, you will wake up in the morning with the sound of birds. Really needed this. Please continue running the place as is!

Thank you for sharing this special haven with us—it was an unforgettable experience. We were there for good 3 days and never felt bored. The 2 adorable dogs just add more to this, my daughter simply couldn't get over them and she missed them all her way back :) We look forward to come back to this in case Ramgarh becomes a destination again ... Complete value for money (you could have charged even more lol ).

We spent a couple of days at Maati Living and it honestly felt like a little haven. The place is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful spot with stunning mountain views right from our window — waking up to that every morning was just magical. Gagan, the host, is one of the kindest people we've met — warm, and always ready to help. The food was simple and homely, exactly what we were craving, and the staff made sure we were comfortable and looked after. What really made the stay memorable, though, were the lovely volunteers — Miss. Srima and few more.They were so friendly and easy to talk to; we had long chats about everything under the sun and it felt like cozy community. Our stay was full of warmth — a perfect little escape.

This is great stay in middle of nature! Going there can be bit of a challenge as you have to walk 300 meters downhill, but once you go there, you are greeted with amazing hosts - they are super friendly and very simple. The view is amazing, super pleasant super quiet, network is good, food is homely and its just amazing! Highly recommended

Our stay at Shanti Kunjj in Bhimtal was really great. Nestled amidst nature, the property offers a mesmerising view of the Bhimtal lake, which looks especially stunning at sunrise. Watching the golden light spread across the water, with people gently boating in the distance, felt like a scene from a painting. And in the evenings, we could even hear live music across the lake from the opposite side — peaceful, soul-soothing. The ambiance of Shanti Kunjj is beautiful, serene, and incredibly peaceful; perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. A special mention to Sanjay, the caretaker, who ensured every little detail was taken care of and made us feel truly at home. Also, Mahendar’s homemade meals were an absolute delight — comforting, flavourful, and made with love. Richa, the owner response very quickly to any queries. If you're looking for a calm and rejuvenating getaway in Bhimtal, Shanti Kunjj is the place to be. Highly recommended!
