Ever stayed in a shipping-container renovated into a self contained unit (or ‘donga’ as we call them in the NT)? Why not give it a try! It has only previously been used for travelling family but its too good not to share with Airbnb guests. The space is fully equipped for your stay with a private bathroom and kitchenette. It is insulated, has a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. There is an additional wall fan in the bathroom and a clothes hanger for your convenience. No smoking on the property.

Phil and Bunty are welcoming hosts. Clear and easy to follow instructions about all aspects of my stay at their place made for an easy and enjoyable stay. A cuppa(2) each morning on the balcony overlooking the park was a great start to my day. I ate at the local Thai restaurant twice, enjoyed a meal at the local cafe and shopped at the local supermarket. All within an easy walk (there and back) and recommended by Phil and Bunty and others who I met up with during my stay. I also recommend those businesses. Thanks Phil, Thanks Bunty for helping to make my stay in Fannie Bay enjoyable. Over many years I'd driven or cycled through Fannie Bay. This was the first time I'd stayed there and now I don't want to stay anywhere else!

Really enjoyed our stay here at Jess & Tom's studio for nearly a week. Located under the main house with a small outdoor space to use. As the weather was cool in the morning, we found this a great space to enjoy with a coffee before starting the day and then again in the evening after the warm day to cool down. Bathroom is spacious and airy; kitchen is easy for quick meals, and the bed is comfortable. As there is no tv or Wi-Fi, we found this a great way to do a digital detox. Jess and Tom are just lovely and very helpful.
