Great island, amazing views and a very welcoming Family Fakwader!

Amazing tiny island stay with a super lovely family! Beautiful surroundings, beach and sandbanks. Very peaceful. Home cooked meals were provided by the family as well as refreshing coconuts. Bed was comfy and the room was adequate, with a hammock in the front. Bathroom facilities more rural, but still had everything you needed. Scuba diving and snorkeling nearby. We loved the place and the nature was incredible.

This LITTLE cabins are a nice place to stay and Rika and Fahmi are great hosts, very accomodating and made us feel welcome in Morotai. Totally recommend!

Sere lo más honesto, para que tengas expectativas acorde. El lugar es maravilloso. Las cabañas todo bien, lo esperable para el lugar remoto donde te encuentras. Comida tuvimos pescado, pollo, vegetales (el paraíso de los vegetarianos probablemente) no hubo ratas en las cabañas, pero si vimos una en la zona común una noche. Venden cerveza y bebidas, nada más. Te recomiendo llevar snacks para pasar la tarde o en caso de que no te guste mucho la comida local. Halfred es muy servicial, pero tuvimos un retraso el ultimo día para nuestro bote a waisai, es entendible porque lo pedimos para las 3,50am y llego a las 4,30 para ir a ver los birds of paradise, pero como se retraso solo pudimos ver 1/2, se que no es su culpa y es más del bote, pero igual fue una lastima haber opacado la experiencia por ese traspié. Nada del otro mundo igual, la experiencia en general fue excelente. Los baños están viejos, pero era esperable.

Un excellent séjour au Ora sunrise homestay, le service de récupération et de restauration est parfait. l'organisation d'excursions via le homestay est un sérieux atout, l'ensemble du personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. je recommande +++ !

We had a lovely time staying at Wainay Homestay. The cabins and bathrooms are very basic but functional and comfortable. The cabins are right on the sea with a lovely view, extremely peaceful, and a short walk away from several diving centres. We had electricity and working fans from 6pm till midnight as is typical in the area, and slept comfortably every night. Food was always plentiful, varied and delicious. Faruk was responsive and helpful, and he speaks excellent English. The family who live and take care of the area are also lovely and kind. They even took us on snorkelling trips a few times, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful water life. It's not luxury however it was a wonderful experience sleeping to the sound of waves and waking up to beautiful views.

What a wonderful retreat. I stayed for 1.5 month at Ankermi to plot my fiction novel and it has been the most rejuvenating and productive stay. I accomplished a lot : mastered diving, learnt bike reading, swam in the ocean, watched sunrise and sunset everyday. Claudia took me to many secret diving spots and I was completely floored by the beauty of Indonesian ocean. Food is great and homemade. 10/10 will come again! Worth every value for money!

Es war alles wie beschrieben. Ich konnte bereits lange vor der vereinbarten Zeit einchecken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen und die Mocktails haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Traumhafter Blick vom Restaurant über das Meer und in den denn Sonnenuntergang.

Beautiful place, amazing view close to the water and a shop at 5 min walking, amazing host 🌊 safe space to park your motorbike, downstairs you have always people present who answer your questions and help you out. There is a pool on the 15th floor which is also pretty amazing. Just be aware there is no WiFi connection, I didn't read this well( my own fault) and it got a bit stressy with work. also, be aware that somehow the 4G signal in the building ( or Manado?) is not so strong if you want to do video calling would def recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hier. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal überaus freundlich. Es gibt ein Restaurant, dass 24 Stunden Room-Service anbietet. Man kann auch dort essen und das Essen ist sehr gut. Ich würde jedem einen Besuch wärmstens empfehlen.

非常幸运，Faruk分配了最新完成的木屋给我，距离餐厅和卫生间都非常近，在露台上还有吊床和晾晒衣物的装置。 作为一名潜水长，Faruk对周边的潜点非常熟悉，也会在当地旅游活动上给出具体的建议。同时，在Waisay码头接送或是跳岛交通的收费方面，这里的报价通常都是最合理的。

Le lieu est exceptionnel pour le snorkeling. j'ai passé une semaine de "folie" avec les tortues, les requins et des centaines d'espèces aquatiques. Nourriture très bonne et en quantité. Le site fait aussi Diving, avec un moniteur (Gérard en français) qui parle peu l'anglais mais il connaît son métier. Il est rigoureux. Malheureusement, il a été difficile de s'entendre sur les sorties plongée (prix pas trés clairs... et même un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs). J'aurais aimé faire 1 ou 2 plongées de plus. Il y a un vrai village attenant, mais peu d'activités. Forêt accessible (mais rien est fait pour ça, de petits sentiers peu accessibles) et un ancien chemin un peu défoncé (par la mer et la forêt) pour aller d'un côté de l'île à l'autre. Mais globalement, j'y ai vraiment passé du bon temps (très peu de touristes pendant ma semaine).

Great spot, right on the beach. Beautiful villa with everything we needed. Easy to get to and from the city but very easy to just sit on the beach all day!

We really enjoyed the stay at the Eco Lodge. Adecya was very welcoming and caring. I wanted to mention how flexible they were with a flight that changed so we could cancel one night at the last minute and get a full refund for this night without hesitation even if this is not included in the cancellation policy. The food they cook is amazing and they were very adaptive to my special needs (allergies and health conditions). We also had some last-minute ideas for trips, and they were always available, making everything possible (even last-minute meal prep for lunch on a day trip!) and we got fresh Aloe Vera from the garden for our sunburn. The bungalow is amazing the house reef is wonderful and everything is clean and well taken care of. Thank you very much for hosting us! We had a wonderful time! Termia Kasih

Ja, ist ein langer Weg um zu diesem wundervollen Ort zu gelangen und ja es den weiten Weg wert. Wir sind zum Schnorcheln hierher gekommen und waren begeistert von der intakten Unterwasserwelt, von der wunderschönen Unterkunft mitten in der Natur und vor allem von unseren Gastgebern, der Familie und den freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Wir haben viel gelernt von Jack über das Leben mit und in der Natur und wie hier alles zusammen hängt. Ihr seid ein tolles Vorbild mit eurer Eco Lodge und es wäre schön wenn es mehr Orte wie diesen gäbe. Wir können es jedem ans Herz legen einmal hierher zu kommen… die Natur a Land und im Meer, die Unterkunft und die leckere Verpflegung … danke für alles

My two days at the bungalow were awesome and much better than expected. It‘s a perfect place to calm down and relax.
