Villa vacation rentals in Malpais

From beginning to end the stay was spectacular. Glori, Rosa and Cheppe were great helping us with everything and staying on the beach in a beautiful home was wonderful. Best place Ive stayed with greatest concierge and service.

This place is stunning. Sweeping views of the ocean. Howler monkeys in the trees one day. Colorful birds. Everything. Plus it’s a litttttle but outside the main strip of town which is good because it’s quiet Steep driveway but everywhere nice in Santa Teresa has one. Rent an atv or a 4x4 vehicle. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful. Comfortable. Cozy. This is a stay we will never forget!! Aside from the stunning views of the ocean and complete privacy, the villa is charming as can be - a chic bohemian beach paradise. If you’re looking to sip coffee and make breakfast in the morning, while listening to the sounds of nature (a symphony of birds, insects, and the occasional howler monkey roar) from your poolside hammock, this is the place for you!!! It will feel like you’re in a dream! Also, Fiona, our concierge, is a shining gem of a human - so kind and gracious and helpful!!! 11/10 would recommend this place. The only, and I mean ONLY, downside is that the villa is located a ways up the hill and the road is steep and treacherous in some places. We would definitely recommend a mode of transportation to get to the villa. We walked down into town most days and while we had to be careful, it was doable. The walk back up was quite challenging tho - a great workout for those more abled-bodied travelers.

Beautiful stay, responsive hosts and incredibly helpful, friendly on-site staff. Very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I often had the pool to myself. This was one of the most beautiful accomodations I’ve had with the best customer service. I accidentally broke a glass and they sent someone within minutes to sweep with a dustpan and deep clean the next morning. I was impressed. I will definetly hope to return with my loved ones!

Wunderschöne Villa mit tollem Blick, ruhig oberhalb von Santa Teresa gelegen, super bequemes Bett, hübscher Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr in der Natur gelegen, daher ist uns draußen im Dunkeln ein Skorpion begegnet, nach dem Regen hatten wir bissige Ameisen also Augen auf :-)

We had a great time at Villa Lasai! Sophie- the concierge, did a great job assisting us with anything we needed and the house itself is exactly what you see on the pictures- gorgeous with breathtaking views, great pool and outdoor area. I am not an early bird by any means but I enjoyed waking up early in this house a lot- hearing all the forest inhabitants, ocean waves breaking somewhere further make you want to start your day to see/feel more of that. The house is located up the hill and the road is partially paved which took us one full round trip to get used to, but once you get a hang of it- it’s totally fine just a bit bumpy. In terms of proximity to everything the location is great, once you’re down the hill- you’re on the main street of Santa Teresa with all the restaurants, shops and tons of ocean access points. Overall, would definitely recommend Villa Lasai and would love to come back here some time in the future!

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. Inspiring, beautiful, luxurious and a view 10X of what is shared in the photos. Thank you for hosting me. The gated road with evening to late morning security guard outstanding. Gated neighborhood was impressive and secure. The residence here is ample in parking space, very well lit at nighttime and minimal in stairs for ease in accessibility. Exterior facing the valley and ocean with unobstructed view, large pool, comfortable and high-end exterior furniture, all facing the pacific ocean horizon and jungle valley is incredible to enjoy. Insects and bugs non issue, plus its apart far enough from neighbors to enjoy some calm volume level outdoor music. Interior is luxury, with floor to ceiling end wall to wall windows both front side / back side. AC is powerful, wifi too. Dining area, epic, couch tv's are epic. Bathrooms, Master Bedrooms and Guest rooms are all impressive. Everyone speaks to the mountain road upwards to arrive here. Its really nothing for any modern vehicle.

Our friends rented this house a year ago and loved it so much that we decided to book it for our honeymoon, and we are happy we did. The Casa Mirame concierge team made everything flawless - from restaurant recommendations and setting up excursions, to even booking our 4x4 rental at the Cobano Airport. You need 4x4. The road is steep and partially unpaved. However, the drive is more than worth it. The home is spotless, includes daily maid service, looks better than the photos, and the views are magical. The place is totally private, and the pool is AMAZING. We would watch birds and listen to monkeys and the waves in the distance while the sun set.

This place was absolutely beautiful! It looked just like the photos. The open-concept design was very clean and featured amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Judit's communication and support were exceptional from the moment we booked until our final day, so many things would not have been possible without her help. We had everything we needed in the villa and were able to plan excursions and local transportation easily. I highly recommend staying here, but be sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitoes!

Yonatan’s home and hospitality is the best experience I have ever had on AirBnb—the house is stunning, Yonatan’s communication was beyond excellent. He set up cabs for us, gave amazing restaurant recommendations, had a private link to set up excursions with Local Bird, a great delivery service to get groceries (SippDelivery) and had beer and wine and treats from the AMAZING local bakery waiting for us upon arrival. The beds are soooo comfortable and laundered to perfection by the housekeeper, Deyling, who comes every day. We brought my parents as a gift and it was a gift to us all that we chose Villa Kaleo. The pool is great, the view is gorgeous. We saw white face monkeys, iguanas, heard howler monkeys—all around the house. Highly recommend horseback riding with Oscar as well. GO!

I would highly recommend Alan and his Villa. From the start he was very responsive and helpful for accommodations. I constantly visit Santa Teresa and this was my favorite stay so far. The villa was clean, private, the pool was beautiful and Tomas,our concierge, did a great job checking us in, providing recommendations and making us feel like home. This place is perfect. A very short walk to the beach, lots of wildlife surrounding the home, clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, and a quiet home big enough for everyone to have their own space to unwind and relax. We had howler monkeys visiting regularly, lots of unique birds coming and going all day, you are in the thick of the jungle while close to the ocean and the town. It’s quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable which is very important to us hoping to have a restful vacation, which is Exactly what this was. The host is very responsive and helpful in booking excursions and activities making our adventures fun and easy. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable one!

What a beautiful suite! The view was absolutely stunning. Beyond the photos. The place was spotless and cleaners came every day to ensure it was refreshed. It was such a pleasant time and Adriana was INCREDIBLY helpful throughout our stay.

We had a great stay at Casa Mango. The pictures were accurate and the place was spotless Laura the host was flawless, she’s was constantly available - giving us suggestions and advice through out our stay, very attentive and made our stay so much more enjoyable with the use of local knowledge. My wife, 4 year old daughter, and 1 year old son had the best time at Julie’s place. Air con cranks, boho decor, beautiful front porch! The landscaping was amazing and the pool was perfect for the kids. Monkeys swing over you in the pool during the afternoon. Super close walk to beach to surf! Julie answered all our questions promptly and provided us with great recommendations. We rode horses during sunset referred by Julie and it was awesome! You are at the quieter north end of town. 5 star all the way! Thank you Julie!!!

This was absolutely the best place to stay! Staying there made our whole trip totally worthwhile! The home, location, amenities, hosts, everything was superb! We would recommend this home to everyone! It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and well stocked. The pool was amazing, the landscaping gorgeous, and the wildlife abundant. It was simply beautiful and so peaceful and relaxing. The birds, butterflies, lizards were all amazing to see and hear. The Howler monkeys visited several times. Our favorite was the Capuchin Monkeys that came onto the deck and pool area. They let us feed them and it was awesome knowing they were in their natural habitat and still socialized with us! Victoria and Maor were the absolute best! They are amazing people and treated us wonderfully. I only wish I could truly express how kind, respectful, friendly, and responsive they were. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience with extraordinary memories to take home with you, then this is it!!

Cas a Hemingway was an oasis in the bustling towns of Playa Carmen and Santa Teresa. It was set just a block off the main road but was so peaceful. Easy to walk to restaurants and great sunset viewing beach. We had a rented truck which got us around to all of the neighboring beaches and Montezuma. The porch was quiet and lovely for sitting, and we saw lots of birds as well as monkeys on several mornings. Soraya and team were friendly and oh so helpful. They left a list of things to enjoy in the area. Laundry service and frequent cleaning helped with the R&R part of vacation. Thank you to Casa Soleil for sharing your sweet, magical spot with us.

We loved our stay!! Absolutely beautiful interior design. Great lighting in the house, comfortable beds and a/c in every room. The pool and lounge chairs were great as well. They also provided beach towels for us and beach foldable chairs which was a nice touch. The location is really great, I personally would say you need a 4x4 to get up the hill (which is normally the case in santa teresa villas) so other than that, the location is very centric to the best restaurants and nice parts of the beach! We had the best time at Villa Makai! Josefina was amazing to work with and was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations and helping us secure an ATV for our arrival. The house was unreal, with ocean views and open concept. Amazing appliances and grill, making it easy to feel at home!!! The beds were unreal comfortable and the cleaning service daily was such a nice touch to keep it feeling fresh!!! we loved the location of this spot as well, in the heart of town, but just far enough up the road so that you could escape the craziness. We love ST! Thanks again :)

Nuestra estadía en casa de Oliver fue extraordinaria. Este es un pequeño paraíso para los amantes de la naturaleza, que disfrutan la vida en montaña abierta, en medio del bosque, y se maravillan mirando de cerca todo tipo de flora y fauna, pero que a la vez aprecian un buen nivel de comodidad. El permanente sonido del mar, de fondo, es sumamente relajante, como también desayunar o disfrutar la piscina mirando la línea del mar en el horizonte. Oliver es un excelente anfitrión, siempre muy atento a proporcionar buenas recomendaciones y consejos, y a responder consultas. En conclusión, recomiendo muchísimo este alojamiento a quienes realmente aprecian la vida en medio de la naturaleza, y buscan una escapada del mundo urbano... muy cerca de las atracciones propias de Santa Teresa.
