Apartment vacation rentals in Malawi

Simply a great airbnb, and quite possibly the best airbnb host imaginable. The place is in a smaller house inside of a larger private compound where the hosts live. You're well connected if you need anything, but the space allows for privacy. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, everything you could think of is there. Plus you might as well use the beautiful and tranquil garden. The area is a quiet and green suburb. Very safe, peaceful, with a number of very nice cafes and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. A large supermarket is 15 minutes walk. Reasonably short taxi ride to city centre, or you could just walk. The host has been absolutely fantastic. Amazingly helpful, sorted out a few issues I had (not with the place but with closed shops), great to communicate with, and just generally an absolute pleasure. Great family, very nice kids, and very nice friends of the family at a little home party I was able to join. Couldn't recommend any place more.

Chimwemwe's place, a true hidden gem, offered excellent value for money. The flat is very tastefully decorated giving a sense of a cozy home away from home. The well equipped kitchenette with lots of counter space added to our comfortable stay. The location was excellent - walking distance to various shops and other businesses, and yet still maintains a quiet suburban feel. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Mabuya and the first in their rental house. We found it to be comfortable and quiet with the convenience of the restaurant and staff on site. We would recommend it and plan to stay here again in our future travels.

We received a warm friendly welcome. There is a restaurant on site, which was great. We loved the trees around the property.

Lovely new building. Furnishings are lovely. Some finer details need to be worked on, but overall a very nice unit. I believe this is a newer area and therefore the distance, lack of presence of other community members, and unstable wifi left my family in the need for a different rental. The owner, and what seemed to be the management team, went above and beyond to accommodate our many very last minute requests.

This airbnb is realy nice, clean and stylish! Beautiful gardens with so many mangos and amazing mountains around. The people running the airbnb are also really nice and everything went smooth. It’s in a residential area, but pay fast to get to town even with public bus or mototaxi as there is a main road nearby. In summary i can fully recommend

Mushane is such a great host. The suites are perfect, they have everything you need for a relaxed stay. The location is great, close to shopping centers. Such an amazing stay with a lovely host, my boyfriend and I will always stay here when we are in Lilongwe.

A Relaxing Retreat with Exceptional Service. We recently stayed at Lilian Resort Lake Front Mangochi. Had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived until day I checked out, the resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The accommodation was top-notch. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a breathtaking view of the lake. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The room amenities were modern and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The resort facilities were outstanding. The pool area was a paradise. With plenty of lounge area chairs and umbrellas for relaxation. The bathtub was was a haven of tranquility, and the treatment I received were luxurious. What a truly set this resort apart was the exceptional service. The staff members were warm, friendly, and always went above and beyond to bath ensure I had a memorable stay. Peaceful and secluded. Amazing.
