Utopai is not just a comfy place to lay your head, it truly is a life changing experience. The grounds are an absolute dream. We spent our mornings sunning by the pool, our afternoons relaxing by the creek and our evenings taking in the magical energy of the pool house. We stayed at the Stone Garden House which was a perfect set up for two couples. The home is located close to the pool but facing away, allowing you to feel truly secluded in the jungle. Mon and Cliff were wonderful hosts. Both seasoned travelers, they naturally knew when and how to give us space, while still always available, making us feel comfortable and like we were leaving behind a home and new friends in Pai. They accommodated all of our requests - food delivery, scheduled massages and acupuncture on sight, and even set up a birthday gathering! Thank you for sharing your space and energy with us. Wow, what a place! 20 minute walk to Pai Walking Street but only 3 minutes on a bike. This makes it very private and out the way but also very easy for shops / access to bars. The house was amazing and could also wash my clothes which was bonus after travelling for a month.

This place is really spacious, we were just three but it feels like it could easily handle more people without it feeling crowded. The ceilings are high and there’s lots of seating. Jo was very friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed walking around the area nearby. Check out Seven 50s if you want a chill bar! Other than that there are a good few restaurants and cafes in the area. Having car parking space just in front of the accommodation was useful too.

Bamboo hut in the middle of a beautiful garden…The hostess is extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast is insanely delicious and can be enjoyed on a very nice roof terrace with great views of the mountains and the garden. The ambience and the whole environment is very friendly and you immediately feel comfortable! The Tham Lot Cave can be reached on foot via a small path. In retrospect, we found it a shame not to have stayed here for several days.
