Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mae Hi

We very much enjoyed our stay, and extended our stay by an extra day. We travelled as 2 generations of one family. It's close enough to Pai that the 20-somethings were able to go in to do exciting things (and get a taxi back), while the Olds were very happy just chilling at the house. The best thing was the enormous deck, which wraps around 2 sides of the house so shade always available. It has lovely views and the sound of water going over some rapids. There were a few places to eat within a 10 mins walk, the one across the bridge then back on the other side of the river was fabulous. This was the only AirBnB we've stayed at in Thailand so hard to compare - we found the rooms large by UK standards. The property is brand new and quite well equipped. The jacuzzi is the bath in the main bathroom. Initially we were a little concerned that you need to go through one bedroom to reach the other, but it's easy to get around by going through the window which is knee height and huge.

Absolutely can recommend to those looking for a beautiful and secluded stay in Pai.

Amazing stay at this beautiful property, the hosts were so helpful and kind and helped us with whatever we needed. Lovely location and bit out of town but perfect if you have motorbikes. Also coffee stand just at the top of the driveway is highly recommended, they even have mini golf!!!!

Peaceful Retreat in Nature – Just What We Needed We were really happy with our stay in Chiang Dao. The house was exactly as described — peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. We truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the beautiful views. It was the perfect place to unwind and slow down. Alex was very kind and helpful, always quick to respond and easy to communicate with — we felt really well taken care of. A few things to keep in mind for future guests: the house is quite far from the town and other spots, so having your own transport is a big plus. We’d recommend renting a motorbike — and if you’re planning to stay for a while, it might be worth renting one in Chiang Mai, as it can be considerably cheaper. Also, light sleepers should know that there are roosters in the area, and they tend to start their day early. It didn’t bother us too much, but it’s good to be aware of. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d happily come back!

Had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was super responsive and gave great local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay. You definitely need some transportation (motorbike was awesome) to see the area and get down to restaurants. So peaceful and beautiful. A gem in the area.

The room is very spacious and tidy, and the kitchenware is also very complete. We are a family of three, and the room has four dining chairs. The swimming pool is very clean. We had a good stay and will come back next time.

Spectacular facility with all kinds of space with pools and building with other amenities as listed. Very peaceful, quiet and family/kid friendly. Good security. Plenty of room for one or two people. Great television and Wi-Fi with balcony views. I find most beneficial is a comfortable sofa for 2 to relax watching television or conversation. Huge mall next door. Actually more like an 8-minute walk to the mall over a footbridge and small canal. Besides the mall there isn't much within short walking distance, but the mall has most anything you need anyways. Other than that you'll need taxi or some transportation beyond. In final analysis this facility I highly recommend.

Overall, it was a neat accommodation. However, the ants often appeared, so it was a little stressful. I booked a room with a friend, and it was a little embarrassing to know that the room was changed on the day of check-in, but the host handled it well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at Tim's Tim’s Airbnb is an absolute gem for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Tim greeted me in person at check-in, which immediately set a warm and welcoming tone. I was a bit worried about a noise around the building but there was none from his unit. I enjoyed uninterrupted mornings on the balcony and restful day. The apartment had everything: a fully stocked kitchen, strong Wi-Fi, and even a vacuum cleaner. Little details like toothbrush and toothpaste added extra convenience. I’d recommend Tim’s place without hesitation to family, solo travelers, couples, or remote workers.

It's a bit out of the way from the center of Chiang Mai, but the nice pool alone is a great condo to stay in. It is quiet and clean at night and the pool is in good water quality. However, the room I stayed in is not enough for a clothes dryer, toilet paper, and basic kitchen utensils, so consider that when staying for a long time. The bathroom smelled a little like a sewer, but this looks like a defect in the building rather than the host's fault. Anyway, I am sure I enjoyed my stay here.

We had a great stay at Tim's place. The place was spotless and conveniently located next to a mall. All the amenities for our stay were provided with attention to detail. Communication was easy, and the check-in process was smooth. Would recommend!

Phimhaka is a great host! I can only recommend this place! It was a huge relief to arrive in the silence after two weeks of busy city’s in Thailand. The house has all the comfort you want and it’s a place where you can really relax. Maybe the only discomfort we had was getting there. We’ve rented a car to get there. It was an adventure to start driving left, and getting used with the Thai driving style (with the deepest respect for Thai drivers 😀). In the neighbourhood we found a coffee bar with a very friendly lady and a local restaurant with great food! We’ve had to change our travel plans, and Phimphaka was so friendly to understand, and to provide a solution. Only warm words to her, and I wish her all the best!

My stay here was amazing 2 lovely people, beautiful location, they took me around the village parade and I felt very welcome. it’s right next to the cave aswell. Stay here if you come to Tham Lot.

5 stars does not do Hula Hula and Mama justice. After checking in I was immediately made to feel at home, and the location and views of the villa are exceptional. The other people staying in the hostel were all interesting and friendly, and they flooded Hula Hula with positive, chilled energy. Mama’s food is also some of the best I’ve eaten in Thailand, and when coupled with interesting strangers and a serene, nature filled setting, staying at Hula Hula will be an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. If you’re looking for a peaceful place and don’t mind a lack of luxuries, you will not regret staying here. Trust me.

This was probably our favourite place in Thailand. Prayad and Penchun(Fonthip's parents) were incredibly welcoming and generally lovely people. We immediately felt at home from the minute we arrived quite late after a long journey and they offered us a delicious dinner. We wish we could have stayed longer and shared more meals and nice conversations with them. We felt very privileged to share the idyllic space they have created together. Also the fresh coffee and fruit from their own gardens each morning were incredible. The place itself is in quite a rural location, but really easy to reach by scooter. And there are lots of things to do within half an hours drive, and Prayad gives great recommendations. It's a very peaceful and scenic location with a beautiful garden and very friendly dogs. The bungalow was spacious, with a comfortable bed, good air-con and clean, modern bathroom. Definitely a place to spend some time exploring the real Thailand away from the main tourist route

The location is at the top of a hill so you will need a bike to get around, but the spot is soo good you wont want to leave. The view from the 3 tier platform is a perfect way to start/end your day. staff are friendly and always helpful and also served food for those who dont want to leave the complex.

The cabins are nice and comfortable, it's close to the bars from where you can see a beautiful sunset with mountain views. And you have the hot springs nearby. All that's left to do is to reinforce the bathroom cleaning.
