Spectacular views one hour from Madrid

We pass it barbarous. The view of the house is a real pleasure. The photos totally match the reality. The hosts were so accommodating. I would go back without hesitation!

Beautiful, central and peaceful

CarlosRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time. Very comfortable apartment for two and you can have two visitors for lunch. Our co-host Vojko was very kind and attentive to the questions we asked him. Close to downtown, the main museums, and Atocha in case you travel by train to another city. You walk and arrive in 10 minutes. The Lavapies neighborhood is nice and picturesque. There are grocery stores nearby and many bars 4 minutes from the apartment. It's on the 4th floor by stairs but you climb well. You'll see that no 4-story residential building has an elevator.

Bright apartment near Prado & Reina Sofia Museums

JoyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sergio's apartment was fabulous....we would describe it as a junior studio...the bedroom is not separated by a closed door but far enough away from the living room area to afford privacy...with the doors and windows closed, the apartment was very quiet for sleeping. The double bed was very comfortable...not too firm and not soft!! The neighborhood was lively...great restaurants all up and down the street...great walking area...in fact, we walked all over the city!! We would recommend this apartment to anyone seeking to enjoy what the center city of Madrid has to offer...always felt very safe...even walking home at 2 am! Thank you Sergio for a great stay! kind regards, Joy and Rob

Architecture lovers tree-house

Mariana's place was the most beautifully designed space I stayed în and I felt especially honored to be there as I am a fan of the Never too small channel. The place had everything you need and its position was the best, în the La Latina quartier, which is central enough (about 1km of The km 0), but feels like living among the locals. You also have shops nearby - Carrefour market 2 minutes away, 2 non-stop shops 4 minutes away and a bigger Dia supermarket 7 minutes away (also remmember that Madrid has good water and you can drink from the fountains în the city).Metro station is also near- 5 minutes away. And if you need to store your bags, there is a place on the same street with lockers. There is also El Rastro outdoor market that happens every Sunday, which is also on the street of the accomodation and I really recommend. Would come back if I had the chance.

Classic and daring in the heart of Madrid

PeteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a great apartment to use as a home base if exploring Madrid. Was able to walk within 20 minutes to all the top destinations. Apartment is full of art, funky and cool, and well maintained. Has a great old-world charm. Neighborhood is lively and noisy, especially at night, so be prepared for that. Did not find it too distracting, though. Recommend highly.

Latina Village - Seasonal Accommodation

AndreRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We enjoyed our stay at David’s apartment in the La Latina neighborhood of Madrid. It’s a super unique neighborhood with restaurants and bars and is a 12 minute walk to the San Miguel Market & Plaza Mayor. We were there on a Sunday when the entire neighborhood transforms into a gigantic flea market. Literally every street. Was super cool to see. On our last night we ate at a killer Italian restaurant 5 minute walk from the apartment, Mandarosso. Thanks David!
