Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Inese and her husband are very pleasant hosts, my friend and I were both welcomed in a friendly and warm way. Both of us are bird sweet and were very excited to see owls nearby for the first time in our lives. Thank you for lovely memories!

Harrijs was very helpful with local tips, and I really appreciated the completeness of everything in the kitchen, bathroom, Wifi and besides more it was clean.

The cottage had everything we needed, equipped kitchen with the ability to prepare meals, grill available as well. Beautiful, river-lined location with a fabulous view at sunrise. Suitable for relaxing by the water, as well as a great spot for fishing. Responsive hostess. There is a desire to go back in a place like this.
