Four ladies stated at this villa for 3 nights. We felt right at home. Maia was very responsive & catered all that we need. A big shout out to Mr Mithun & Akash who was there to always help us with everything. The villa was exactly as in the pictures. Very private & lovely place to unwind. Highly recommend

The place was absolutely gorgeous—truly nothing negative to say. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and the warmth of home. The host, Jen, was proactive and incredibly responsive from the start, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptional, especially the villa manager, Ushan, who had an uncanny sense of when to be present and when to give us space. Even when not physically around, he ensured every request was met. The cook prepared amazing meals daily, and the entire property was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We genuinely regretted only staying for four days—it simply wasn’t enough time in such a beautiful setting. We’re already planning to return. Bonus: it was unexpectedly fun spotting dragonflies around the property—just one of many charming touches.

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with a personal touch. Thank you to Shafeena, Sahal and the team at Buona Vista Heights for providing one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. The property, staff, surroundings far exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional - we ate out a couple of times but quickly realised that the best food was cooked by Sahal and his team at home. We experienced delicious Sri Lankan cuisine including chilli fresh crab. Communication was excellent from the moment i booked the property which was very re-assuring having never visited Sri Lanka. All our excursions were arranged through Sahal, including a day trip to Yala National park - this made it so easy for us to make the most of our time in Sri Lanka. The property is so peaceful and a sanctuary but only a short tuk tuk trip to the hustle of Unawatuna shops, bars, restaurants and beach. We were a group of friends travelling from Australia, Uk and Dubai and we have all agreed that we will return. Thanks again to all at Buona Vista

Brisa was hands down the best place we stayed during our whole trip. The house is stunning, super spacious, beautifully designed and finished to a really high standard. It was the perfect mix of tropical vibes and the western comforts you want when traveling. The house is also very family friendly, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and everything felt great and well though out. We loved how close it was to the beach, great restaurants and other cool spots to have a drink and chill for the sunset!! Despite being so close to everything the villa gives a great sense of privacy and security as it is located in a great spot surrounded by lush green adding to the chilled vibes! The staff was amazing, always around if we needed anything and the place was cleaned spotless every day. We felt secure at all times in the villa and surrounding areas which we also had the opportunity to explore. If you're coming to the south coast, this is the place where you want to stay!!

Priyankara is a wonderful and kind host, his property is even better than the pictures, he was around to walk us through the space and gave local recommendations., We only stayed for a couple of days, but felt right at home, It's very charmingly decorated as well. A fabulous stay along the coast and a highlight of our 3 weeks in the country. The place is an easy tuk tuk or moped into town. Very responsive host - easy to communicate with and nothing was a problem. The pool an added bonus for our kids who enjoyed that and the monkeys that were often nearby. Loved the daily housekeeping, and the place is well staffed and professionally run with security etc. Private from other villas on site. Would 100% stay again if back in Sri Lanka.
