Vacation rentals with lake access in Madawaska

We had a wonderful time staying at Chad's place. The property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect for our group of 10 snowmobiling. Lakeview restaurnt was a quick spin on the sleds. Also communication was excellent! We had over 2 feet of snow fall and Chad was on it about having it plowed! such a gem we found.

Beautiful place, right on the water. All the amenities of home in the great north. Couldn't have asked for a better place. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the quaint 1850s-built farmhouse. We had ample space for our group. The bbq and large dining room ensured we had a wonderful evening of laughter and games. Thank you for the hospitality!

This place worked great as a place for family to meet up in Northern Maine. We wish the weather had been a little less rainy so we could have enjoyed the yard and lake more, but we don’t except hosts to control the weather!

Place was immaculate and had everything a person would need, and then some. It truly felt like home. Would definitely stay again!

my wife and I spent 4 nights here at Stephen's place on pelletier island, long lake . we really enjoyed our time here. the area is quiet and the house is in good shape. my wife grew up on long lake but this was my first visit to the area. it's a fantastic area to visit and we will be back soon. thanks Stephen.

It was great, if you want a quiet place away from the world that's exactly that, Alex was a very friendly and pleasant host, he took us a tour of the whole lake and even let us use his kayak and pedal boat, it was a great stay, I would highly recommend it.

Cedar Haven is absolutely beautiful. The home is very well maintained and comfortable. The views from the yard are incredible and peaceful. Communication with Pamela was amazing, we truly felt at home in her home. My husband and I will definitely be booking all of our future trips here!

Angelo is an extraordinary host, the estate was perfect, a beautiful little peaceful square, nice people. Note that there is no cellular network, however there is a very good Wi-Fi network. Thanks a lot Angelo!!😁

The apartment that Angelo listed is in a former retirement building that is in the process of being transformed. The place itself is really spacious and comfortable. As this is located in a very small quiet village, reception is almost nonexistent — something to keep in mind if you rely on your phone maps as a GPS. The closest grocery store is about 15 minutes away (although check on business hours before going there). My wife and I stayed here just to relax quietly and do a bit of hiking and walking. This place was perfect for that.

We absolutely loved our stay at sharon’s place! We were originally planning to stay for just one night as part of our travels, but as soon as we arrived, we felt so comfortable and welcomed that we decided to extend our stay. The home is cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained — it had everything we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, and sharon was kind and helpful throughout our stay. We’re so glad we found this spot and would definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a place to stay on Long Lake to visit family and friends from Van Buren. This place was wonderful. We brought up our kayaks and enjoyed paddling every day. Woke up to loons and bald eagles, lovely! We hope to stay again next summer.

The house was very clean and had all we needed. It had a nice kitchen with lots of dishes, pots and pans, washer/dryer, etc., a big deck, comfortable furniture, and two a/c units which kept the house cool on hot days. The fridge even had some fresh eggs! My only regret was that the lake was really not easy to access. The dock was not set up & the path to the water ended in mud and reeds.. Getting a kayak or a larger boat in there or even swimming would be difficult and awkward due to the trees and reeds and mud near the shore. Our neighbor confirmed that. We didn't plan to go boating, but being able to swim in the lake a bit would have been nice. I hope that lake access will improve. Everything else about the house was very nice. The views from the deck were nice. We felt good about staying there. It was easy to get to places we wanted to visit, like Ft. Kent & St. Agatha. The island had very little traffic; it was very quiet. We enjoyed hearing the loons calling !

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very cozy, the propane fireplace was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Plenty of parking and the circular driveway was convenient. Mark and Carrie were very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay so much, that we quickly made another reservation. Excellent communication from Carol and a such cute little camp! We are looking forward to returning in the fall.

Eric and Natali's cottage is ideally located for swimming, kayaking, boating, etc. on beautiful Lac Baker. Although the location is tranquil, it is also convenient - 15 minutes or less drive from several area markets and within day tripping distance of many interesting sights in the area. The cottage has lovely indoor and outdoor areas to sit and relax while enjoying the views and intermittent serenades from the loons. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the chairs and sofas offer many sitting/lounging options to satisfy everyone. We especially enjoyed having access to the kayaks and watching sunrise and sunset over Lac Baker. Thank you for hosting us, and we look forward to visiting again!

Great place to stay! Felt right at home and the snowmobiling was great right from camp. Will stay here again!

The house is right on the water with a nice place to sit near the water. Easy access to the water for swimming or boats. Nice little house that was very comfortable with everything you could need. Beautiful view with lots of windows and excellent climate control.

12 of us had a great riding snowmobiles out of the place for a week. Eagle lake is a great little town. We had a blast.
