Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Macomb County

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed there and already booked it for next year. You couldn’t ask for a better location for what we were looking for. The house is spacious and super nice, everything you could want. The communication with the hosts was great and they responded quickly. I’ve already recommended the house to several friends.

Great pillows and comfortable beds- clean stocked kitchen and lots to do. Our family enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

Second stay at Matthew's. Great place to stay for fishing Lake St Clair. Going North or South on the lake is really convenient and easy to get to. Plenty of parking enough for two boats and two trucks plus another vehicle without parking in the street. Will book again

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

Ish was a great host and the house in Madison Heights was the perfect home base for us as we explored Detroit. It was super cozy for us to come back to and the sun room+backyard was a great setting to hang around the house as we enjoyed the start of summer. Would recommend and hope to be back!

This was perfect for our stay to come up to go both to the Royal oak music theater as well as visit family from out of town. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs the house was really quiet on the street neighbors were respectful easy access to 693 and to get around Thank you so much would highly recommend and stay here again

Jackies Place was a great spot for us. We fished everyday and the metro park boat launch was 5 minutes down the street. House was perfect size for all my sons and my buddy and had everything we needed to prepare the meals we cooked for the week. Outdoor grill was fantastic and they even left a spare full tank in case we ran out which we didn't. Great suggestions on local eateries and even brought us more garbage bags when we ran out. Thanks again and we will be back next year, Frank & the gang

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Ronald was very helpful and responsive, the place was also very well kept and stocked with amenities.

If you are looking for a little slice of peace and tranquility....stay here! Perfect amount of space for a small family, a couple or a solo trip. The container cabin in set up on a little pond, has a great fire pit and nice trails to walk. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will certainly visit again!

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

The bathtub with jets and hot tub made our stay very enjoyable.

Had a delightful stay, enjoyed the wildlife around there, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, saw a robin pull of worm out of the ground....classic. beautifully maintained lush green surroundings at the end of a private wooded driveway. Great climate control, great hot water, great water pressure, nice firm mattress on the bed, plenty of drawer/closet/storage space. Simple but perfect.

I'm so glad I chose this listing! Stefanie is a great host who communicates well and is very friendly. The place looks just like the pictures, was very clean, and stocked well with things you'll need during your stay. I highly recommended this place for anyone in need of a peaceful, cozy getaway right in the middle of nature! Would definitely stay again in the future 🌿

First stay at an Airbnb, and if all places are like this - goodbye hotels or motels!

Wonderful A frame house. I loved it the second I walked in. Tons of natural light. Everything was perfect. Coffee bar is awesome. The record player in the corner was a nice surprise. So much thought has been put into the guest experience and the many little details. Private and safe setting. Loved watching the birds and the deer. I enjoyed stargazing from the comfort of the bed and watching the clouds in the morning sky. I could live here. Look forward to staying ant The Shacks again.

Abdel's airbnb was a wonderful place for my friends and I to celebrate graduation. The neighbors are very nice and I would strongly suggest letting them know if you'll be outside late because they were very appreciative. 5⭐️!
